Lucario Race

Description
ANNOUNCEMENT
Mod partially on Hiatus for Armor Adapt and RenTek: Project Awaken
The lucario mod is in a partial hiatus while I train under the crew of RenTek to become an even better mod developer. RenTek so far has gotten my skills up to another level, but it is far from being public ready. RenTek is mostly a weapon based mod so I am learning how to make more advanced modded weapons from my time there. When I come back full swing here, you can expect the weapons of the Lucario Race to get an overhaul and possibly a selection of new weaponry.

Granted my training at RenTek is not going to waste. I have been developing a mod called "Armor Adapt", not just for the lucario to use, but the entire modding scene as a whole. Armor Adapt is a mod that can swap the images of clothing/armor to something that actually fits the species you are playing as if the supported alternate images for the item are made. As of such, the lucario will be one of the first race mods to take advantage of the Armor Adapt system and you will no longer have to worry about some clothing not fitting you. All of the lucario clothing/armors will be reworked to use this system (only if installed) thus making it so you do not have to craft a different item for every different body type lucario. One item with armor adapt support will work for any lucario appearance you choose. As a bonus, the more mods that make compatibility with Armor Adapt and the more artwork made for alternate looks, the easier it will become to share outfits with players who are not the same race.

Armor Adapt is in development and hopefully will promote a new era of sharing outfits between different mods.

A Big Update is out for the Lucario Race, see the changes I made here:

This mod adds the lucario species to your game with over 4,000,000 different possible outcomes in character creation. By changing colors you can access tons of possibilities for your unique lucario. The options you have now are insane, and can be increased further by installing the other mods in this series.
For information on character creation, body types, or how this has so many possibilities, go here:

The Lucario Race adds in new items. These range from new swords to crafting materials. More items will come with updates. Most of these items will be avaliable to the lucario solely, although some are for every race to be able to spawn lucario NPCs.
For information on items and objects, check here:

This is a mod after all and ChuckleFish updates Starbound every once in a while. You may encounter issues with the mod upon game updates or you may have some problems with the visuals, drop rates, weapon power, etc.
As of such it would be very helpful if you posted your errors.

The outfit unlock recipes had been disabled, because a way to automatically do it was found.
So that was a thing for a while.
Although the outfit recipes are now redundant if you have Armor Adapt installed as the recipes you would have gotten are just copies of lucario outfits with different sprites and Armor Adapt swaps the sprites to match your lucario for these outfits automatically with just the base versions of the outfits.

Update: I've managed to get the recipes using the /spawntreasure commnd; still not sure why I didn't get them like I was meant to though

I didn't get the reward bag that was supposed to give me custom recipes; I tried creating new Lucario characters, one skipping the intro and one not, and neither got one either. It's possible that another mod I have is causing issues with that, but I can't find anything in the log that could be related.

Anyway, is there a way I can use a console command to get them? I'm thinking /spawnitem, but I don't know what i'd put in to get the bag.

Thanks in advance!

The vanilla clothes turning into a tank top and a pair of pants when worn is an intended feature of Armor Adapt referred to as "default outfits" meant to placehold until images of that item to fit the species is made.

This is an optional feature that is not required for everyone who uses Armor Adapt to use but I made the lucario use the feature.

As explained over at Armor Adapt. I am poking the mod to make chest items no longer default. Legs will continue to default though. I originally wanted to sprite images for the lucario for the vanilla items but 2023 was not kind to me, thus the placeholding.

Armor Adapt cannot make new images with code, you have to make the images the old fashioned way and put them in the right folder.

Update: it turns out that armour adapt was breaking the clothes. I'm not sure what it is supposed to do but don't install armour adapt. It seems to break the clothes, even vanilla ones.

Some clothes seem to break, like the buccaneer set. This never happened with the Chucklefish forums version. What is going on? Is it even safe for me to use the other version so the clothes work? It seems to switch to a placeholder one that resembles a tank top of the protectorate clothing but grey.
