Reduced Ship Upkeeps (OUTDATED)

Description
<<<<NOTICE AS OF 7/9/2018>>>

I have uploaded a 2.1.1 compatible version since I can't, for the life of me, find anywhere how to update a mod. It's by the same name but I slapped [2.1.1] at the front of it, here's the link:
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1436303096
Please subscribe to that new version!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This mod does as it says: reduces the upkeeps of ships. A lot. Like... 75% a lot. So no more 2 minerals for 1 corvette. One. Corvette.

You will now be able to actually afford building anything in your space... because how else are you supposed to acquire a steady enough income and maintain a decently sized fleet to avoid becoming space chow for your local Devouring Swarm? (of whom will also have reduced upkeeps, and likewise with the rest of your neighbors)

No new games required: simply enable mod and play an existing save. Say hello to your new minerals and energy! Disable to see how dirt poor and worse off you'd be with vanilla upkeeps!

Maybe, but then I rather also not have to do that every time there's an update

hey dont worry, hope you can get it settled soon. WHat if you try to upload it like a new mod instead of reuploading to this version?

Simply "uploading" the mod doesn't work... it tells me that its supported version is "2.1.*", the star meaning compatible with every version of 2.1, yet after telling me that the upload went okay... it appears that the mod's STILL not compatible after I delete my own mod folder and then get the "same" mod folder everyone gets from just subscribing.... believe me guys, this is very, very frustrating for me too. Loading into my current save with the "current" vesion puts me suddenly at -900 minerals and -500 energy when using the version that seems to ONLY work for me puts me at about +400 energy and +800ish minerals. I would just like to apologize deeply to everyone that my mod is being such a fuss with me and all of you.

... okay, so launching the game and just doing that didn't work.... what the actual heck? WHY is it so damned difficult to just update my OWN mod WHEN IT CONSISTS OF 1 ACTUAL LINE OF CODE THAT SHOUDN'T BE INCOMPATIBLE WITH ANYTHING

Ugh... I don't know why it's not doing anything to update. After deleting my own mod folder and then resubscribing to everything, I found that yeah, my mod was not updated to 2.1 I had thought my previous attempts at editing the mod file to support the next version worked, but apparently not. For now, until I can get this all figured about because the internet has been less than helpful, the solution is to navigate to your Documents folder, go to Paradox Interactive, go into the "mod" folder, and find "ugc_1330113521". Edit this with Notepad++ and change "supported_version="2.0.1"" to "supported_version="2.1.*" Imo it should be easy to update my OWN freaking mod but nothing of that sort is happening

Should be updated now, made that one change I need to make for it to go "hey, I'm compatible here!" Should be all clear... hopefully it actually does, let me know if not

I shall be updating this mod once I get home in about 3-4 hours. I would assume it's otherwise still compatible even of it has the "outdated" marking, as it's just a few lines of code that honestly should work with any version anyway.

mine says not compatible with 2.4 is it not updated automaticly or my game just messed up :P and the vanilla values are insane and breaking my empire :(
