Usage
--------------------
The WL-75 was designed for a 2-person crew. The gunner sits in the front section, controlling the main weapon systems, while in the rear cockpit, the commander oversees the tank functions and drives the vehicle. Every model in the Waylander line has a switchable MART system, so the turret control can be exchanged between the two pilots anytime. History
--------------------
While the "Battle-Ax" BTX-2 was a decent medium tank, the Corporation still needed an all-round heavy platform, which was promptly fulfilled by the "Waylander" MBT line.

The Waylander is a 90 ton, heavily armored assault tank, desingned for long range encounters against mechanized targets as well as regular infantry. The tank is controlled by a team of two: a gunner who sits in the front cockpit, and the commander, who sits in the rear section. Both cockpits are hermetically sealed from the atmosphere, and the crew can rely on the provided oxygen bottles or the outside air via the air vent system.

To keep the crew and the internal components safe, the front side of the turret and the chassis is protected by more than four layers of heavy armor, while other parts of the tank is surrounded by one or two layers.

The standard (S) variant carries a long-range Rak11 auto-cannon and two machine guns. The first one is placed in the turret, controlled directly by the gunner, while the second one is embedded in the front of the chassis, which is linked to the driver/commander.
The Waylander is also prepared for encounters with drones; to deter automatic weapon systems to target critical components, the tank has been equipped with several decoy modules, embedded on the side of the chassis.
The tank is also equipped with a pair of SLS (Surface Lock System) modules, which can be used to hold the tank in a fixed position, providing steady aiming, even if the terrain wouldn't allow such opportunity.

A powerful twin-reactor keeps all the systems up and running, providing enough power to drive the tank trough slopes up to 30 degrees.

The tank was designed along with the Valkyr-96 Dropship to provide a reliable aerospace transport for the type.

Several types were made based on the original model, such as commander-, anti-aircraft-, missile carrier-, or the modernized twin-turret (WL-82) variants, but the base variant is still really popular choice for any ground troops.

This has inspired me to make a tank now. Beautiful design, so realistic. Nice job!

@JaggedNel: "why is this tank so similar to my development, which I have been doing for a month, and nowhere has not laid out photos yet?"

It must be a coincidence... I started to build this tank a year ago. I included this tank with my Valkyr dropship in July 2017, you can check the link.
Also, check the date on this early video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mj2T3f6egdc

почему этот танк так похож на мою разработку, которой я занимаюсь уже месяц, и никуда пока не выкладывал фотографии?

Thanks, guys!

@Pangolin: Yes, you did. Both this one, and the dual-turret variant. (I'll upload the other one soon.)

Stunningly gorgeous. Did I see this in action on the 13th, or am I thinking of another tank?
