Zhufbar (GCCM) The Torrent Gate

Zhufbar - The Torrent Gate v.1.2
This is an updated version of the TWW1 Zhufar by Zoidberg, Maruka, and Frodo45127, which you can find here.

This is Zoidberg's baby, but he couldn't upload it, which is why I've gone ahead and done that for him.

Zoidberg did basically all the work on the map. I did a load of random stuff, and Frodo45127 did the AI.

Lore
Zhufbar is located in the Worlds Edge Mountains on the borders of the Empire, nestled in a deep chasm under the dark mountain lake known as Black Water. High above the city a huge waterfall cascades from the lake and rushes down the chasm. Long ago, Dwarf Engineers were able to build machines to capture the energy of the swift flowing torrent, to power drop hammers, ore crushers, washing pans and other mining and metalworking constructs. The city contains the main shrine for the Dwarf Engineers Guild and it is a centre for smithing and every kind of industry. It was from here that the Dwarfs first passed on the knowledge of metalworking and engineering to the humans of the Empire, and engineers from both races have had a close relationship ever since. The noise of mining and industry resounds though Zhufbar constantly, and at night the chasm glows with the light of a thousand furnace fires as the siege engines and steam-powered machines of the Dwarfs are assembled around the clock. The map
This Zhufbar map features the torrent gate of Zhufbar. The map is for multiplayer/custom battles and will be in the grand campaign custom map mod in the future. The map is a siege map, with functional walls, towers and capture points. The AI will use these accoridingly while spawning rams and sieges towers when attacking. In multiplayer, make sure that everyone has downloads the map prior to game load as the map won't auto download ingame.

This is a beautiful map but there are a couple of issues.

-The lighting is really low so when it dims you can barely see anything.
-Vanguard units can spawn inside the walls.
-Artillery doesn't seem to like attacking units on the walls. Always having to force attack and sometimes will walk right up to the walls.

Such an amazing map but needs bug fixing.

Love the map but the AI do not seem to commit to attacking the actual main gate for me, they only climbed the walls and attacked the side gate but did not batter down the gate itself. Sometimes they don't even attack the side gate and they seem to struggle to commit their full force. Also there are a handful of places around the pit near the main wall where siege towers disappear underneath the map for a while only to pop up/reappear again inbetween until they eventually make it to the wall

This should be fixed in the dev version of GCCM, which you can try out. The link should be on the page of the main gccm mod.

Awesome map, I have the whole pack from you. One complaint though. I came with reinforcements when I attacked. the reinforcement army entry marker was under water in the back left of the map and I could not move or see my troops. after spamming move commands my lone wizard flew from inside a building to join up. Maybe see if reinforcements can be set to come in from the outside like the main army? otherwise cheers on the best map pack making my campaign beautiful.

A bit of feedback:
(-)The map seems darker than in the first game, to the point that on some weather types it is hard to see and the waterfalls look strange. NVIDIA graphics.
(-)It is very difficult to destroy siege towers with only two wall towers.
(+)AI seems better now.

Still my favorite looking map, thanks guys!
