Anti Fighter Defense Station Mark I

Description
This station is one of a series of ground based defence stations. Like all of the stations in this collection, this works best on flat terrain. It also requires mods to use. If you don't know how to use mods, it will be explained in the description.

The Anti Fighter Defence Station Mark I is a planatary base meant to fend off enemy fighters and control the airspace around your main base. This base has four small reactors for power. There are two batteries, but they are for looks. The base has two assemblers inside of it to produce ammunition. For storage, there are two small cargo containers. They can be accessed through a connector on the exterior of the base.

As far as weapons, this base comes heavily equipped. There are four Bofors 40 MM quad anit-aircraft guns on the base. These guns will knock small block ships out of the sky with ease, and will heavily damage large block ships. While the base can shoot down large block ships of a small to medium size, it is adviseable to use a bigger defense station like the Heavy Anti Ship Defense Installation. (Currently under construction) You may be worried about the light armor not being able to protect well enough. Well, don't worry! There are shields on the structure and they will absorb damage until they run out of energy. The time it takes for that to happen should be enough time for the structure's guns to shoot down the attacking vehicle/s.

This is meant to be used with other, identical ground stations. It works far better in higher numbers. Each should be 750 meters from the nearest one. Make sure the conveyor on the exterior is pointing away from the direction of the enemy or potential enemy.

To use mods, go select a world to create. Select the mods tab after you have subscribed to the mods required, and then enable the mods.
IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A WORLD and you don't want to make a new one, then do the same thing except configure the world before loading.

@Luna I did not, but it does look awfully similar now that I think about it.
