I realized that continually creating new note forms to meet whatever my current needs might be would eventually become overly tedius.

Instead I made customizable templates in which most fields could be renamed, and sections repurposed directly inside of Nimble Writer, without need to create newly coded forms.

The suite consists a several Note types:

Customizable Character
Customizable Faction
Customizable Item
Customizable Main Plot
Customizable Sub Plot
Customizable Quick Ref
Customizable Scene Idea
Customizable Setting
Customizable Story Arch
Customizable Info Sheet
Customizable Images container

Each Note type contains an abundance of renamable sections, text input blocks etc.

You can use them as I set them up, or repurpose them to your own needs, right in Nimble Writer.

I utilize Nimble Writer to plot out comic books and graphic novels. It is just one application among many which I utilize in the creation process. I created some template for use in assorted graphic programs to aid in this process.

So the following has now been made available in rhis mod:

Non-repo-blue comic book brainstorming templates for anyone that might find something like that useful. They are not accessable within Nimble Writer, but require external software to be useful.

For directions on how to access and use the comic book templates, please refer to the ~Change Notes~ tab.

How do I enable this mod?

Started using this in last month. This is amazing! Awesome job!

@Javvae I'm sorry for the delayed response. I have not been able to recreate your issue on my own system. Do you perhaps have a theme installed that might be causing the issue? I'm just taking a guess at this point. You may want to try uninstalling any other MODS to see if the problem persists. If it does, you may want to approach the developer about the issue.

In the last couple of months there must have been an update that has caused the "save", "cancel", and "edit" buttons in the notes to be replaced with just a purple bar. The mod is still usable but you have to guess which button you're pressing and hope it's "save" and not "cancel"

@zarker99 You would need to talk to the developer for that feature. There is no way to mod it in.

Is there a way to change the note colour? Like for characters, I like to group them with tags so it'd be nice to be able to change the character colour by roles, etc.

Just downloaded this add on and I'm in love. Thank you so much for creating this epic note making add on! I already loved Nimble Writer because I didn't have to have my collection of notes scattered around me, now I love it more because I can lessen how many freaking notes I have to fumble through! :steamhappy:

@AMKid I've never tried. That would be a program core function, and therefor un-modable.
