Simplistic Recipes (Primitive Edition)

Description
Welcome to the Simplistic Recipes Mod! This mod allows users to craft most simple objects (that I believe could be hand-crafted) in the basic crafting interface. Of course, I left the default crafting stations alone for mod compatibility, and as a failsafe if I missed something as far as progression is concerned.

Onto the actual reason for making this mod. Often, I tend to play as a character who remains primitive as far as technology is concerned, with few exceptions. Therefore, this mod is meant for those who share this feeling and wish to role play as a somewhat primitive character of any race.

Many items are now hand craftable, but only those that I decided were able to be hand crafted by a character with primitive knowledge and technology.

If you have any requests, I will frequently review the comment section of this mod and consider requests. If you want anything about this mod changed, I'd be happy to try new ideas. If the requests do not fit with the theme of this mod, I may make a sub-branch of this mod on the workshop with the changes.

With that said, enjoy the mod!

Ok, thank you! :) I spoke with the devs at Frackin' Universe as well. They messed up alot of mods that used the [C]rafting menu :/ really sucks

@MiniQueenieGames I see. I'm not currently doing much modding on any games as I'm in college now and applying for a job, but if I get time to work on it, I'll look into resolving the issue.

Due to a new update from Frackin' Universe... they have made a change to the [C]rafting menu... the recipes from this mod is no longer showing up.

That should do the trick for any recipe.patch files you want to make!
This site [chbrown.github.io] is a life-saver for making JSON patch files, I use it all the time

It's fine. Thanks for the input though. I am always trying to improve as far as modding goes, so input is always appreciated.

Honestly, my limited amount of modding was done mainly by cannibalizing others' mods. You're kinda on your own here, regarding help from me.

I tested out mods that add recipes to the game, and they work fine: Their recipes are added like normal, and no crashes have been encountered. The warning above is just for mods that alter the game's default recipes, like "Collector's Dream" by Ertas10. If a mod adds its own recipes, they are added to the game just fine. However, if you have advice for how to create a successful .patch file for the recipes, I would be more than happy to learn.

I have tried .patch files, and unfortunately, I could not get them to add the "plain" tag to the recipes' "groups" list. After a week of attempting to use patch files, I instead created a single .patch that tells the game to use my mod's "recipe" folder instead of the default recipe folder.

This mod can be uninstalled without error. I use only my Steam version so that, if something is wrong, I can find out more easily. I installed and uninstalled this mod to ensure that it was safe to uninstall, and it does not erase characters/cause crashed once uninstalled.
