Description
This mod adds GI Joe themed rank names to your XCOM 2 game.

The idea of GI Joe themed rank names was discussed with my friend The_Man_in_the_Shack for another project. I came up with a couple of names myself to toy with the idea and decided to stick with those I had. I've grown fond of them.

I made this mod for myself because it was simpler for me than go directly into the files. This something I have been using privately for a while, and I decided to share it with other fans of the GI Joe universe.


The usual ranks have been replaced with the following:

RankNames[0]="Greenshirt"
RankNames[1]="Rawhide"
RankNames[2]="G.I.Joe Operative"
RankNames[3]="G.I.Joe Regular"
RankNames[4]="G.I.Joe Squad Leader"
RankNames[5]="G.I.Joe Veteran"
RankNames[6]="G.I.Joe Field Commander"
RankNames[7]="Real American Hero"
RankNames[8]="Real American Legend"

If you are in interested, I just posted a wip text mod replacing XCOM mentions to G.I.Joe and Advent mentions to Cobra, and more. It had been posted privately in 2022 and I just changed the visibility. You might not notice it.

I'd say take that as a starter; then filter out some of the more specialized names for more generic ones.

The uniforms mods don't work with WotC. They are using using assets that are from vanilla. I working on a (better) WotC version that uses the 1 million colors mod. All flags work with torsos updated for WotC. Tattoos and mission names work fine.

They don't need to get ported. They all work. I use them regularly with WotC. The indicator just tells you that they had been made for vanilla.

Looking at your other mods for Xcom2, they look really sweet. I hope they get ported to WotC, I sure would use them. :)
