Stun Ammo

Description
What this mod does (brief)
Adds a custom utility item available for purchase in Engineering.

More specifically
  • This ammo utility item applies 100% stun for 1 turn, +75 aim, -50% weapon damage
  • Is available at the beginning of the campaign and only costs supplies
  • Item stats can be configured in
      C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\268500\1139228388\Config\XComStunAmmo

Useful for fine tuning harder difficulties or helping with the early game.

Compatibility
  • This mod works with the War of the Chosen expansion

Extra Comments
It would be cool if this mod was a default advanced option in the vanilla expansion (under reducing tactical difficulty).

For anyone interested I've published a "Shock Ammo" mod which is similar to this one and less overpowered.

Great, I'm just starting a new game so will give it a try!

The mod is now updated. Stun time should now be adjustable.

Thanks for liking this mod.

It's very possible to make the stun time configurable. I'll update this mod soon to include stun time in the config file.

Great idea, thanks for making and sharing it. Would it be possible to make the time stunned configurable?

I'm not sure if there's an easy way for the once per mission effect. I tried making a stun grenade and failed.

Actually is there a easy way to make it one use per mission or completely consumable?

I always wanted a taser type weapon but this is a ammo version.
