Not worth getting currently, no updates, unbalanced game play, and no skill based because there are barely enough people playing to fill a lobby in 10 minutes of waiting. DON'T WASTE SPACE ON THIS GAME

As an avid player of the destiny series, since I loaded that 360 up to the D1 beta 9ish years ago, I have generally liked the major changes and felt like there were good intentions. However this is way different. The campaign doesn't answer many questions and does leave us with more than we gain with them however I understand it's only the first week. The weapon re-skins are fine because they have updated perk pools and a new twist. HOWEVER, the increase in difficulty has brought about the problem of legend lost sectors. These are very challenging and only got harder with the update, yet there are still exotics gated behind this activity. The grind got longer and exotic drops are just as scarce. This feels very unnecessary and it seems like with major exotics being gated behind it, it should at least be a tad easier. Not 3 minute runs easy but less damage output from the enemy AI. GUARDIAN RANKS are also terrible as this adds another meaningless level of grind to the game. The game already has grimoire, seasonal leveling, now commendations, seal gilding, and to top that off power level itself. The idea of having to do a raid to complete a crucial step if baffling as all players don't have the ability to hop in for multiple hours or do cheeses (locked behind items) that make it take less time. The overall guardian rank system makes no sense and I have not met a player yet that cares about it. There is no incentive to do it and even if there was could it possibly match that of putting time elsewhere? To summarize this review, legend lost sectors are much harder for the same loot drops and take much more time when it could take 3+ hours to get a single exotic. Lastly, guardian ranks feel forced and redundant to overall game play especially when there is no incentive, it resets per season, and there are many other ways to spend time on the game.

A LOT TO DO, you will not run out of stuff anytime soon. The devs constantly release updates and road map updates as well as having events. Highly recommend!

Absolutely stunning and beautiful. There is a nice story line and a very calming sound track for all the puzzle portions. The entire thing runs so smooth and really gets you into your Sherlock Holmes mindset. Overall I really really hope there is a second one

I can't recommend this game after grinding it for a month. They really know how to screw over their dedicated players. They added sunsetting which is capping the power level on older weapons so they can't be used. That was a slap in the face because then you spent all that time on something that you can't use. Luckily they got rid of sunsetting, but then they have a janky transmog system (allows any armor to be turned into ornaments to wear) that is capped per season and takes a lot of grinding. The catch is that you can skip the cap and process by just paying. This is obviously a greedy move that hurts those who want to grind and not spend more money on this already super expensive game. They also lock certain things behind RNG walls that forces you to have to grind ad nauseam (way too much) just so you can boost their play time amount. You could theoretically put 24 hours straight into grinding for certain exotics and never even get close. It doesn't feel rewarding to get your power level up because everything is low or still easy regardless of level, the season pass is a lazy excuse, even the celestial ornament set looks like a re-skinned version of the hunter set available in archive (season of the hunt I believe). I had to revise my prior review and inform you to look elsewhere. This game is losing so many core players to games like outriders etc because at least they feel rewarding. SO PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BUYING!!!! The only reason they get away with eververse itself is because they are now hiding behind that "free to play" title. This it all just a ploy to be able to be greedier than activision.

Even in the current day this game is wonderful. The community can be highly toxic at times but that's not the dev's fault. It isn't as demanding as people would say because I run 16gb of ram and it doesn't come close to maxing, same with cpu/gpu. Highly recommended for everyone who lives military style rp/experience.
