The story is garbage, but Destiny story has been in the gutters since years now with seasonal content trying to fill the gaps for those who play and confusing the hell out of those who don't

But the real issue here is the pricing and what you get in return. The soundtrack is absolutely stellar and the only great thing about this 'expansion'. But for 50 euros I'd expect more than 1 subclass that will most likely get nerfed into the ground and abandoned in a few months like Stasis, 1 boring cookie cutter strike, 1 raid that also is fairly disappointing and a story which you can finish in 5-6 hours with a few lackluster exotics sprinkled on top. Neomuna feels very abandoned and there isn't all that much to do. Also every enemy on Neomuna is scaled up 10 Lightlevels above your current Level for no reason other than artificial difficulty.

Why is the dungeon locked behind an additional paywall? We paid less for Forsaken and Shadowkeep and got more content out of those and dungeons were included with the expansion.

Also after 4 months they finally managed to explain the backstory of the main antagonist... in seasonal content which will vanish in a few months. Peak storytelling.
