I can see why people obsess over this game. It has amazing world-building, I actually felt compelled to listen to the NPCs and see what they had to say with different dialogue options, as opposed to just spamming A in conversation like in Fallout 4. The combat is alright, it's not as good as FO4 (especially modded FO4,) but it's still good enough. The RPG element of Fallout is at it's best in New Vegas, miles better than FO4 or FO3 (which I've yet to play, but it seems like there's only one path in that game.) In New Vegas your choices are clear. You want a faction gone? Kill them. You want to side with them? Sort things out diplomatically. Your faction really wants these people dead, and you like those people? Betray them, or serve them with hesitance. As a proud American patriot, I decided to side with the NCR (I originally wanted to side with Mr. House, but he hates the Kings and I like them.) I had a fun time playing the role of the NCR's one man army and destroying Caesar's army. The Brotherhood were a pain in the ass to deal with though, The game allows you to come to whatever choice you want, instead of just telling you that you can't join the bad guys because they're bad, or forcing you to join the good guys. If I decided "you know what? slavery isn't so bad." I could've just joined the Legion, and then destroyed the NCR. But I wouldn't do that, because they wear skirts (and because it's un-American.) Overall a fun game, and an amazing RPG. I'd recommend using some mods, even if they aren't as good as in FO4.

A: Watch ads until your brain explodes
Or B: Make a large-scale investment in PG3D in the form of buying virtual gems.
Since I did the former out of boredom, I guess this game is mildly enjoyable. If you haven't played it before however, don't. The weapons in this game look really cool, some of which are actually really creative and I'd love to see in other shooters. Unfortunately, the game is comically P2W. Why bother trying to play well with your free guns when XxPooSuckerxX buys the Anus Annihilator 5000 which fires nuclear anti-matter bombs at 5000 rpm for $49.99? You want to know something funny? I got this really overpowered santa sword from watching ludicrous amounts of ads and gambling my gems on some dumb wheel. Anytime I want to farm wins, I just head into deathmatch mode on knife party and use the sword, and 99% of the time I win. It's THAT easy. It's not because I'm really good at this game (I'm really not), it's because I have some dumb overpowered sword that's miles better than everyone elses. If this game wasn't so P2W, it could be pretty fun. I would love to be able to pull out the Mayor's Trophy Revolver (a really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool weapon that you pull out of a case to fire) and pop some dude that's using the Arcade Rifle or whatever it's called. Instead, this game has two kinds of people. Those who use the Anal Annihilator 5000, and those who don't. And if you are the latter, just play another game. It won't cost you that much, and it'll be a lot more fun.

I'm not here to ♥♥♥♥ on this game. I actually love it, and have played since launch (on my Xbox.) However, this "Steam" port has one glaring issue. IT'S NOT A STEAM PORT. You install the game, and in the process, it installs the EA app, and before that, it installed Origin. Neither of these launchers function properly, and I wasn't even able to play the game on its 5th year anniversary despite how much I wanted and tried to. This game does support mods, although not nearly as much as the OG BF2. Yeah, it's a fun game, but it's really scummy that they force you to install some terrible that launcher that hardly works (if at all.)

Great gameplay, although not as good as the first imo. The game is rather short and the game only takes place on 3 different environments (4 if you count the Dagobah walking simulator,) but it still provides a fulfilling experience. The story is kind of stupid and kind of contradicts the characterization of Starkiller and Vader in the first game, but the voice acting in the cutscenes is so good you might forget that the characters are talking about cloning ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Jedi/Sith. I'd also suggest checking the Moddb page, especially if you don't like the idea of only fighting with 2 sabers.

Good game, but you're better off buying the Megapack version on console, which comes with extra levels (Zed Zeppelin and Land of Sweet Hyperbole,) and (at least in the Switch version) Punctuation Plaza, a very fun addition. Another thing I have to mention is that this game has a surprising amount of guns. In fact, this game has more guns than Call of Duty: Black Ops. One of my favorite things to do in this game is to try and solve simple tasks with guns. Some guy hungry? Give them an edible gun. Some guy too cold? Give them a hot gun. You'd be surprised how often it works. And with the object editor you can make any gun you want, is this the ultimate shooter game? This fun of this game comes from not playing the way the devs intended, solving simple problems with giant mechs and nuclear bombs.

If your game only shows certain, odd servers, just reset the filter. The game is infested with cheaters. Only one cheater can ruin the whole experience, just one can force the entire to redeploy (die) and spam the chat with a plugin that renders it nearly unusable, as well as other more mild things. It is very disappointing that this game got axed before the Eastern Expansion and the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Springfield were added, it still is a fun experience in those moments where cheaters are absent, but it only takes one to ruin the game. The only counter is robot servers, but those are all stationed in Asia and have little "bells and whistles" that just make the game less enjoyable. I cannot give this game a positive review until the issue is resolved, which considering the way DICE/EA works, abandoning projects when a successor comes around, will likely be never.

They put a great load of effort into making the game reflect the dark nature of war. The brutality, the death, and the horror. They made by far the most immersive COD campaign ever, and then at the end they just said screw it and added zombies.

How funny that they skipped a 3rd game and just made a 4th one. Must be because 3rd games can often be pretty bad. Luckily they avoided it by never making one. They never made a Postal 3. Ever.

Don't walk in expecting to be blown away by any outstanding story or open-world exploration, but rather be blown away by how fun it is to blow away enemies with the end of your shoe and a 12 gauge shell.

A revolutionary game with fun combat and an unbeatable charm one can only find in a Goldsource game. I'd honestly say it's better than the sequel.
