It'd be pretty cool if this game's multiplayer had an active playerbase, not gonna lie.

No, you don’t need to buy anything else to play this game. The PC thankfully includes all of the content in the main install. (Except for certain characters that came after the game’s initial launch, such as Vision, Ant Man, and Black Panther, which are sadly completely absent.) This is because it was announced in 2016 that the game was canceled, and in 2017 all online features for this game were shut down. This kills a lot of the replay value and locks me out of most of the fun I had when I was younger. Some features can be restored with mods, but these mods are very hard to install and the online features as far as I know are gone and will most likely never return.

This game is fun because you can commit child abuse and throw your favorite Disney characters off a cliff. Go ahead. Nobody can stop you. The game encourages this, by specifically telling you to throw your sidekick at enemies, and many other things like dynamite shacks and turrets. This game has a pretty good roster, consisting of Agent P and bunch of other weird characters I don’t care about. This game also has a game mode called the “INterior.” Time flows much faster while building in there. Every once in a while I’ll get a prompt to do an objective for someone in there that’s already been done. What’s that Han Solo, you want a room in the cantina theme?
OPEN YOUR EYES. Toy box building is ok until you realize you can spawn enemies and even bosses to your hearts content. The combat isn’t very complex, the game wasn’t exactly aiming for an audience over the age of 8, but it’s still entertaining. All in all, a fun game to waste your time with.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 sucks. Go play Star Wars Battlefront 2, which is way better, or this game, which is called Star Wars Battlefront 2, which is also way better.

This game is written like some mid-2000’s teenager’s fanfic, but somehow really well at the same time. Even though it’s not canon, I don’t really care because it’s a much better story than what Disney came up with to replace it. As for the gameplay, it’s very fun and addicting. While I do think the game could’ve used more diverse environments and could’ve pulled more from the films, the core gameplay and combat is really well designed. Fast paced, over-exaggerated, and satisfying. They really made what they set to make with this game. As for the PS2/Wii version, it’s not as good in my honest opinion. The gameplay is less fun and while it may seem like just a nitpick, the quick time events are infuriating. This is at its worst in the PSP port (which oddly enough has more content than the PS2/Wii version.) Trust me, this is more of an issue than it seems. With the 360 version, the game makes the player feel powerful and like an actual sith, while the low-end versions just feel toned down, even with the added levels. And no, I’m not going to talk about the Nokia version.

Great game, I'd even go as far to say with all the nostalgia I have for The Complete Saga that this is better. The gameplay feels like it takes effort, sure it's still easy, this game is pretty much made for 5 year olds, but the combat isn't jump jump slam anymore, it's chaining together satisfying combos and blasting helmets off in a nice way. The space combat is also incredibly easy, but it is really fun too, it feels very much like Battlefront 2's space combat. There are only a few problems I have with the game. 1. The levels are too short. Simple as that. What I loved about The Lego Force Awakens was the lengthy and fun levels. Here they are just fun. But at least exploring the worlds and capital ships and space is fun. 2. Less replay value. The free play mode is significantly crippled, it doesn't even work in space levels, and the levels are so short getting all the minikits will probably take you like 10 minutes. And even if the free play does work, there are a variety of scripted scenes that force you to switch back to the story mode characters, along with them deciding that enemies don't attack dark side characters, which might be the biggest problem in the game. Why can't I kill battle droids as Vader!? It reminds me of Halo Infinite, where people say they love the core gameplay, but it isn't nurtured and put to good use. Edit: Removed Game Breaking Glitch reason, thankfully TT Games not only patched the cause but also the effect of the bug, so I don't have to start a new save. I'd honestly give this game a 10/10, I'd say it's best lego game yet, even with my nostalgia for The Force Awakens and The Complete Saga.
