VISAGE

VIsage is, without question , one of the best horror titles in the last years, maybe(IMO) even decades.

This title is able to toy with the player senses by constantly creating new frightening enviroments and events, makin it a constant mixture of feelings, which i haven't had in any other games.

Not only that, but also simple tasks such as walking through an hallway, up some stairs or entering a door can ramp your anxiety all the way up during this experience.

All the three main chapters were well written and designed, having my attention focused on the narration even during the most dreadful moments( not an easy goal for the average horrror game)

And then the house: I loved how it constantly changed along with the progress of the game: The feeling of mystery and fear behind every door, closet , mirror or room is what made me cling to this game so much.

Big shothout even to the audio section, both sound effects and OST were perfectly placed and incorporated to make things even scarier(for example,i loved how the same happy yet deep song played after finishing each chapter)

If i have to find some flaws, i'd say that the inventory controls and the door handles could have been slightly adjusted, makin them easier to use.Beside this, i can't but reccomend this game to everyone. In particular, to those who enjoyed watching a walkthorugh of this title: Playing the game is a whole different experience, so give it a try.

Simply put, God of War is on a different level. Beside having one of the best story in the franchise and game history, it also include a huge amount of small details that take the game to a big step up.

Needless to say that the GOW story is so immersive , detailed and breathtaking.From the characters development to the dailogues and action made by the characters themselves, this game takes about 20 hours to reach the end of its main storyline. I've found the bond between the main characters( Kratos and Atreus) to be so intresting , since the relationship between the two evolves narrowly along with the progess of the story.

Indeed this title of the GOW series is far ahead from the previous ones, with its graphic and enviroments being visually wonderful, giving the player a big variety of different scenarios to admire during the gamplay.Having played this title at ULTRA/HIGH graphic settings i can also confirm the good optimization that was made to transport this title on PC , averaging a good amount of FPS even in the most detailed or chaotic zones of the map

The gameplay is a full guided experience that helps player to discover the huge amount of details and small things included in the game(secret quests and chest , hidden fights , world exploration and much more...) . The combat system, despite being simple ( designed for controller usage, which i reccomend) involves lots of combos, and many changes that can be made to customize the battle experience to fit each playstyle.

I would HIGHLY reccomend this title to everyone , even to those who have never played any game of the GOW series before. Also, the last cutscene will make you eager to continue this awesome story.
