I'm not sure why I haven't written anything for Our Life earlier. maybe it's because I treasure this game so much that I was afraid I wouldn't know how to describe how much it means to me.

I wasn't looking for it when I first found it, but it seemed like a game that would keep me busy for an hour or so and that's why I decided to download it.

Cove Holden quickly became a comfort character for me. he is just... the ultimate sweetheart. his friendship with the MC (if we go for the we-are-just-friends route) reminds me a lot of the one I had with a childhood friend of mine. she lived across the street from me and we used to do everything together, even boring stuff like go to the market 'cause my mom wanted me to buy something. it was nice to remember how it is to have such a strong bond with someone.

not long after playing the base game for the first time, I recommended it to my best friend. she got attached to Cove just as much as I did. our love for him and Our Life became another thing that we have in common and that we can spend hours talking about. we've had so many discussions about the characters and the story, of how this game approaches some serious and important topics we haven't seen in other VNs.

Our Life is one of my comfort games, a place I know I can always go to whenever I'm feeling down. a game that brought me some nostalgic memories of childhood and straightened the bond between my best friend and I. we know that, whatever may happen, Cove (and Derek. and soon, Baxter too) will be waiting for us with open arms.
