Now, don’t get me wrong! I love Vrchat, it has been a game that I have turned to since quarantine, but have met a lot of good friends on. Loads of other people have too!. There are surely pros and cons that I will have to list though sadly.
Pros:
Great way to meet new friends online and chill with brand new people
Has a pretty amazing community that revolves around each other to keep the game alive.
Honestly can help with social anxiety a lot.
Cons:
I’ll first start that I really dislike going into public worlds for most of these reasons but I’ll list them out anyway
Immature kids
Ever since the quest update, a lot of kids have come into Vrchat with immaturity and stupid FNF avatars or squid game avatars that just has been making me burnt out from playing the game sometimes.
crashers/hackers
Those have been an issue with public worlds where they can either crash your entire game or get your IP if you piss them off.
“Early access”
It's been in early access ever since the game first appeared on steam. And I believe it shouldn’t have that tag anymore.
Lack of community wanted updates.
Now don’t get me wrong, there have been updates that people do like! But there have been promises of updates like official bone colliders for months, and that has just turned me to using mods to add those promises that were never delivered(harmless mods not malicious mods).
