⚠️This game requires heavy tinkering, patching and patience to get working due to the awful nature of this port⚠️

• Spent 2 hours patching and tinkering, ended up with a terrible sound bug which made the game unplayable.
• Spent another 3 hours tinkering as the Fix for the sound issue broke everything for me, but ended up working after trying a couple of different methods.

If you are going to buy/play this game I 200% recommend following this guide to a T, to have the most pleasant experience possible >> Fixing and enhancing Final Fantasy XIII-2 I recommend the following Mods Aside from the general fixes Located on the Previous Link

• Final Fantasy XIII-2 Proper button prompts <-- great if you're playing on a Ps4 or Xbox Controller
• Leviathan's Tears Patch < Trust me you need it, the rain looks absolutely vile without it.
• Anisotropic filtering < Previous Guide Includes this.
• Final Fantasy XIII-2 Monster Glow Begone mod < I personally didn't think I'd need this but it was actually very nice.

Doing all of this I had an average of 60-120 fps, very minimal freezes and generally a positive experience. Although sometimes the characters move their lips very weirdly due to the high FPS

• Overall I very much enjoyed the game and extra DLC; The music is absolutely amazing, I enjoyed the combat and I loved replaying an old classic I played to death on the PS3.
• Quests are kinda fun, sometimes annoying to figure out but it's a decent final fantasy experience.
• I love getting paradox endings! some of them are an absolute joy to get and i recommend finding them all
• Creature pacts are a fun addition to the gameplay, although can be broken if abused early on, (DLC stuff)

• Serah is annoying and downright unlikable, Noel Too lmao
• Some of the areas have these really annoying minigames which are usually fine but there's a specific area where you have to do around 20+ and with some of them being pure luck.
• Combat gets kinda easy then insanely hard out of nowhere in the DLC. (great fun though)
• The stupid graviton cores quest. Do yourself a favour just look up a guide. mog stuff is annoying as crap and so is this quest.

Game is pretty fun, wouldn't recommend it unless it's heavily on sale or you get it for free due to the amount of effort you have to put into it to get it working. Ps: if you think you can just play this without doing any patching or tinkering.. lmao good luck with that
