[WHOLE BUNCH OF SPOILERS AHEAD] [if ur not convinced to buy the game READ THIS, if you already bought the game READ IT ANYWAY, if you already finished it then MWAH ur a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bro] [anyways..]

This game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rocks. Remember back when Revengeance got all that hype for being this crazy ass game that everyone neglected from froever years ago? Well this game is just like that. Platinum Games just like they did with Revengeance built this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ masterpiece outta their genius ass minds and my capactity for descriptive words of parise have run out. So heres the ♥♥♥♥.

Alright they got this level where ur fighting on a bridge with ur crew and the bridge starts collapsing cuz this massive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spaceship, described by one of your fellow soldiers as being "1000 feet tall" interesting choice of measurement I know, but the ♥♥♥♥ just shoots the bridge in half while ur fighting on it. Alright so now both u and the enemies are one each their own slope and you gotta ease into this upwards battle with them on the high ground and you advancing towards them. Its a tough situation so you wanna take ur time, but uh oh nuh uh go ♥♥♥♥ yourself for even thinking that now the bridge is collapsing. So now u and ur squad have gotta fight ur way up this rickety ass bridge currently falling apart as the deadly robots on the other side are looking to turn your fragile little bodies into liquid human pulp. And thats just one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ level.

Not to mention (god this game is great, unrelated i just had to say that again) theres other ♥♥♥♥ thats awesome too. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ your suit has this crazy ass i dunno what to call it, ur a badass slipn' sliding, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ robot suit wearing, rocket propelled luanching, cheesy oneliner spilling, constantly cigarette smoking dude named SAM. (no relation to the jetsream variant) So thats fun.

Gunplay is cool and unique as hell. You get this slow firing weird looking gun at the beginning called the saw launcher that initially turned me off cause i was like, "cmon this things too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slow the enemies'll ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dodge before this thing hits them." Then i fire it at the big ass robots and guess what, it slices their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ limbs off. It actively affects this enemy in my environment that I'd be fighting entirely differently if I hadn't brought my trusty saw launcher. Needless to say i love it now. I bring my saw baby everywhere. Well technically thats not true. I grabbed a gun at the very beginning of they game that just fires a massive ass laser at anything i point it at while simultaneously expending the energy i use to propel myself with the mech suit. It makes a perfect little balance you gotta maintain between sliding around on the ground like a badass or melting the army of bots firing at your boys. Theres also this counter for how much cover you take cuz somehow this is a division ass cover shooter which is just plain hilarious. I'm assuming you could get some sorta achievement for going around without any cover and surviving on your suits capabilities alone which is nuts as hell and im all for it.

More gun stuff. Each gun has their own unique melee ability which is just unecesarily badass. Unecessary details are the tits if you ask me. I eat that ♥♥♥♥ up. Also any gun you swap to after picking up gets reconstructed in your hands piece by piece. Its the coolest ♥♥♥♥ I've ever seen(untrue the coolest ♥♥♥♥ ive ever seen was a very specific DMC V Vergil combo, but this is a close second), but i did almost get overrun in an elevator while just swapping through my ♥♥♥♥ over and over so now its so cool that it's a bit of a problem.

Movement is awesome, and I don't just mean the gameplay movement. Of course that is true the gameplay movement is top tier going through this game just sliding like a lil speedy bastard all over the ramps and floors it just feels good, But he does it in STYLE. Every single little thing Sam does is a perfectly calculated Acrobatic ass Jojo move designed to make you jaw drop and skid around the floor just like he does. He's just showing off, He knows it, you know it, but also you know you love it. So hes gonna keep on doing it. For example, sliding backwards while ADS-ing with the sniper will cause the guy to bend completely over himself backwards while holding the gun completely steady and you only get to see that for half a second cause ur next primal instinct is about to be trying to hit the nastiest quickscope of your entire life. His extravagant movements are the birthplace of your passion and creativity for being the sickest space cyborg of this generation.

Weirdly enough there is a KIA measure ingame. You fight alongside ur army of lil army dudes on the way to stop Cyborg Space Putin from literally boiling New York alive with his space laser. (That is also a HALO)(Its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HALO from HALO i dunno how i didn't realize till the Monorail mission but the whole game takes place on a massive forreal HALO built by the russians, good ♥♥♥♥) What was I saying... right yeah theres a counter for how many of your dudes die which is neat, you gte to see how ♥♥♥♥ you did at protecting your squad each mission. More good random deets.

I haven't finished it and I got no idea how much time i got left in the story. The only reason im not currently blasting bots is that my headphones died and I wanna hear all of SAM's one liners and Addiction to monorails and Cigs in peak condition. Overall good game tho it seems the original port had a few hardware issues translated over. In one case a quick time event failed to finish on multiple occasions so i used both my keyboard and controller at the same time to complete it. Another this tank boss i was fighting got its own physics messed up and started crossing over barriers out of bounds. It was funny as hell, but you could clearly tell it wasn't intended not like immersion was ever really something i'd been worrying about with this game, but i'd been afraid the think might get in a weird spot and softlock the mission. So the games old and its got some age, nothing modern technology cant find a fix for. And honestly knowing the physics were even capable of ♥♥♥♥ like this got me laughing all the way through the fight.

[TLDR]:Overall solid game, extravagant as ♥♥♥♥ with badassery extrordinaire' and gunplay out of a dream to boot. It's the little things that matter most, but watch out for the big things cause they'll still hit you like a truck. (or a massive mechanical walker with a rail cannon to be more accurate.)

How did I forget this HOLY CRAP dude. There is a Matrix ass slow down time sandevistan function in this game, I had no idea it existed going into this but its awesome. Here the doodad is used mid combat by you and sam does a neat lil pose while you shoot. Or it'll get activated when you hit critical health and that honestly doesn't ease the situation ur in by much which is great. You either get to choose to finish off the bastard whose shooting you down or run like a lil rat to the nearest hiding spot to clamber in. Btw you can also see bullets in the "bullet time" mode, crazy I know. And shoot rockets out the sky as they fly at you. I like it alot what can I say this game is awesome.

Also Also ive been playing on keyboard and it translates incredibly well to it, way better than I thought, but its great. And ur dodges have i-frames so this is technically a Souls-like. (do what you want with that)

This game rules, bullet time is a thing. Shooty robot booty like theres no tomorooty.
And theres these goofy lil colectibles of a golden statue dude you gotta shoot so look out for those k.
