Hyper Light Drifter is an amazing story that covers many philosophical subjects that has emotionally moved me. The developer, Alex Preston and his congenital heart disease has affected his perspective on life and allowed him to create a story full of hurt, acceptance and perseverance. As a boy in 2013 saw this game in development and simply thought 'I can't wait to play that' and when it came out in 2016, I played it thoughtlessly and curtly concluded my play-through. After revising this game as an adult in 2023, I can see how much I've missed.
