When it comes to Celeste, I'm pretty sure it's commonly agreed that this game is peak when it comes to platformers, storytelling, and mountain climbing. And I couldn't agree more. The platforming in Celeste is just absolutely strawberry sweet levels of delight - hard but fair, and given enough practice, it always feels doable, edging you on for just that one more attempt at that one jump.

The music is an absolute bop, and it fits every level perfectly. The visuals are also appealing, to boot. Not even mentioning the remixed levels or the content beyond that, which are all great to play through. This game also seems to have some great mods and a great modding community behind it, which is definitely something I will be returning to this game for at some point.

If you haven't already played or are planning to play Celeste, don't put it on your bucket list of games to play - just toss that list and put Celeste on top your new one.
