I just want to say, I saw this game on instagram months ago (2024) and finished it on Christmas Day, which is kinda fitting but maybe I could've held out until new years eve if I REALLY wanted to match it up.

This game is really cool, the unlikable characters somehow find their way into being funny or funny to hate and the likeable characters are exactly that (I should mention this is a character driven game if you haven't gathered that from your store page impression so far). I think part of that strength is due to the very well balanced exposure levels of each individual and the difference of personalisation for characters we were supposed to see the endgame for vs who we weren't supposed to see the endgame for. It's very well done in the way that it feels more natural than exclusionary.

My other strength of note for this title is how an overall narrative is combined with so many individual narratives, including your playable protagonist Jill. This has a couple benefits, the first is how I can easily give you a spoiler free review because a large amount of the story is impression based, you might like some characters I like less. The second is that everyone brings something to the table, ranging from world building, dystopian concepts, interesting futures and just well crafted individualism. Really good, time to get back in my cave and farm the other endings.

Alma is peak friend material, I wished I liked Betty and Deal more, 9.5/10

Words cannot do justify to how much this game impacted me emotionally in just 14 hours. Must buy if you feel like killing yourself.
