Idk what the commotion is about this game not meeting people's standards.

This was miles better than doom 2016 for me in every way!
-Music is damn near perfect, thank you Gordon
-Combat is very fast and very fun.
-You cant go around killing mindlessly on the harder difficulties(makes total sense), you have to conserve your ammo more and use the chainsaw, which im completely ok with. That adds a new element of skill into the game.
- Demon models are more refined and the Preator Suit got a new upgrade and makes him look huge af.
- More movement tools which enhance the games aspect of movement.
- The game encourages exploration, which is awesome. This adds much more depth and lets you spend more time learning about the Slayers origin through the hidden Codex's and such.
-They dwelve more into the lore about the slayer, which was much needed in my opinion, and they executed it perfectly. You don't need to read or know anything about the slayer, but they have it there just in case you want to know more.
-The cutscenes are fantastic and the contrast and colors are amazing.
-A lot of homage to the original games with its more arcadey feel, which is awesome imo.
-Large variety of weapons.
-Much more refined and better glorykills
-Bringing back Samuel Hayden and VEGA are huge brownie points
-The whole campaign itself was amazing
For reference, ive beat DOOM 2016 3 times on each difficulty except for ultra nightmare, i knew that game inside and out. This game is much better.
-ID knocked it out of the park with this one, huge step above its predecessor.
-1000% recommend.
