Dwarf Fortress, for me, it is, by far, the best simulation game there is.
Due to the fact that the entire world is generated, then simulated for years, generating monsters, civilizations, historical figures and so on.
Then, each of these entities become alive, roam the world, complete deeds and venture into this massive world!
I love, cause the depth of it is immense! If you get attacked by a creature in your fortress, it's because that creature actually exists in your world, and you somehow caught its attention towards your fort!
It doesn't have a clear objetive, there's no 'win condition' to it, you make your own rules, you do whatever you want, you set your own goals and, if you allow your imagination to flow with it, you will have one of the best gaming experiences there is!

I'd recomend a youtuber called "Kruggsmash", who has been playing the free version of the game for a LONG time now, and he does some AWESOME drawings that really helps us understand what's going on with the game, back when there was no graphics to the game, just generic tilesets.

Overall, my favorite game! That doesn't mean it's free of bugs, oh there are quite a few! But despite all of it, I give this game a 10/10.

Despite me not actually playing the Fortress Mode, unless playing it with mods, I prefer to call myself an Adventure Mode enjoyer, I'm buying on launch because yes!
