Buyer Beware: The game does NOT play nice with newer AMD graphics cards. Something to do with Direct X 9.0. Not fixable from what I'm able to tell. You can play the game, but it will CTD if you try to command the battle personally instead of letting the computer auto-resolve the battle. I consider commanding battles to be about half the game, so just know you're going to be missing out on this if you purchase and you're not running on period-accurate hardware. Great game, sad to see it can't be optimized for current computers.

Upgraded to Windows 11. crashes repeatedly. played for years on Windows 10. :(

Constant CTD makes this game unplayable. Was great when it came out, shame.
