i have subscribed pretty heavily to the VS-like wave we're in. This may very well be my favorite.

this is one of those rare occurrences where a developer has a unique concept and executes on it brilliantly. I was looking forward to playing this, and it was as much and more of a surreal gaming experience than i had even hoped for.

if you like to get a little bit out of your own head, this is the ticket.

the visual, ui and audio improvements make a world of difference. coming back to bugs that were still heart wrenching nearly a decade ago, let alone backsliding on things like not being able to review the event log... review is negative.

i have a lot of fun with the game.

UFO waves are so unbalanced that it makes every run entirely rng whether or not you might get totally screwed despite your best plans and concerted efforts. the potential negatives are so skewed vs anything else that it is just inexcusably bad design, and i can't upvote it.

fun. don't expect dozens of hours, but there was more depth than i expected and i look forward to revisiting it when there is some further content added.

i had this wishlisted for some time as a "looks like a not risky price for a bit of a good time."
It has turned out to be one of my favorite games of the year. I have had so much fun with it, it has much more depth than the store page preview really does credit to (not due to the devs, just it is hard to ascertain the rich quality of the game from screenshots). i have recommended it to so many friends; it is an inspiring creation and a gem of a game. I really, really appreciate the creators and will be sure to follow their future projects with great anticipation. that they put it out at such an accessible price point is fantastic.

it seriously is a lot of fun. and wow, i'm at the point where i've paid about five cents US per hour for this wonderful game.

Paradox increasing dlc prices? ha, no thanks.
