You know sometimes a game or some other media comes out and you didn't know you needed it.
This is one of those situations. Somehow this little gem is the best game I have played since Elden Ring. It gets it right in so many ways.

Graphically the game is what it is but to be honest at least at 4k ultra it looks pretty good.
Music score is a bit above average.

Combat is old school MMO type. This is not a game for people that want a bunch of high adrenaline action. Most important encounters will require some amount of turnt on brain.

I love the ai banter perfectly simulating overall toxic global chat of modern MMOs them AI love to roast each other. But are pretty chill when you invite to parties.

Overall I vastly recommend this game and if the dev ever moves forward with small COOP or at least the in game toons of your steam friends then Id probably give it a 10/10. As is however is a solid 9/10.

After 27 hours. Nearly 100% perfecting my first play-through. I can say that to Capcom and the team behind this game a wholehearted thank you! And even that does not provide enough.

Now for the game. If you liked Original 4 I can say now just get this. Its everything you could even begin to think you wanted. Nothing is left out. Sure you do somethings in a compacted manner but others are more drawn out. The game is a work of art in how to give fans precisely what they deserve for years if not decades of support.

Story wise its all fundamentally that same aside from Luis and Ada whom both are expanded on this is doubled for Luis. Story does not change from the original overall though.

Music. I'd say the game does fall a tad short here as nothing but the one time the save room music plays is particularly memorable. Most likely why you can get the originals music as dlc.

Sound design. 10/10 as far as sound is. Everything has weight and feel. From the guns to your foot steps making two different noises if Leon's feet are on different surfaces.

Replay-ability Much like the original will depend on the kind of player you are. But Id say its at least a 8/10 for most players.

Overall this game should be purchased by anyone who wants to experience a good game regardless of any bias towards RE4O or RE in general. This is on its own merit a Perfect Game.
