Bringing Archery to Erenshor, Stormcallers go to battle by harnessing the power of the winds and skies through their bows, and they bring devastating burst damage to your group.

The Stormcaller is the most 'involved' class to play in Erenshor to date, requiring precise timing and planning, or else they may find themselves temporarily limited on their ability to deliver damage.

Stormcallers also have unprecedented abilities to allow for "solo" play for the challenge oriented players of Erenshor.

Notable Skills:

• Imbue Arrow. A Stormcaller can use this ability while they are casting a spell. They will fire an arrow, which, when it passes through the channeling spell, will gain that spell's ability or damage and deliver it to its target. Additionally, the channeling spell will instantly complete and hit and it will also hit the target. This allows a Stormcaller to 'double up' on most of their spells as they see fit. The spell used to imbue the arrow will have a 3x longer cooldown than it normally would in return.

• Precision (Passive). Scoring a ‘kill shot’ on any opponent will immediately refresh all cooldowns to 0.

• Execute. When used on an enemy that is under 10% health, this otherwise normal attack gains a 10x damage modifier.

• Skycall. Call lightning down and cause an area of effect short-duration stun.

• Lightning Blast. A damaging spell line that deals magic damage to targets.

• Blunt Arrow. Single target stun and spell interrupt.

• Envenomed Arrow. Deliver a high damage DOT spell to the target. 

• Static Charge Spell Line. A magic based DOT spell line.

• Blessed Quiver. Imbues all normal arrows with a chance to proc a high damage attack spell.

• Targeted Wind. A spell line that slows enemy movement speed.

Stormcallers are part of the bigger "Erenshor Overhaul" patch coming this fall. In addition to this class, the following features are also coming with this update:

• Party Size is going to 5 players

• More character slots for your alts

• A full balance rework and "Stat Squish" bringing balance into a more predictable and playable place

• "Specialization Points" that you allocate at Character Creation and upon Level Ups to customize which stats your want your character best take advantage of. (Respecs are free and unlimited)

• Reworks of the Island Tomb and Krakengard dungeons to allow more room for larger parties to play

• New mechanics on many NPCs including "Spectral Strikes" "Power attacks" and "Enrage phases" which will make players plan their engagements more carefully.

• Stat screen UI updates

• Slightly more inventory space

• Many bug fixes

Erenshor Overhaul News

Just to update you all (because not updating here daily / every two days feels WRONG and its hurting me)

The Erenshor Overhaul patch is well underway in development - all items, mobs, spells, and skills are being adjusted to bring combat into a more controlled progression curve and to enhance the importance of stats instead of weighting your player level so heavily.

And a new class is coming!

Combat is overall a bit slower, cast times are longer, spells are more impactful, and enemies have castbars now to allow you to interrupt spells more reliably.

Release date on this update is still TBD, I'm still working on tuning the encounters and adding some new mechanics. You'll find things like "Enrage" status on bosses (their damage increases as the fight goes on), you'll find "Powerful strike" on some bosses, who will warn a few seconds prior then land a devastatingly large attack, you'll find "Spectral Strike" on some bosses, where their attacks on your tank also hit another party member randomly - and more to come.

All in all Erenshor should feel like a more grounded, engaging experience, while still keeping the thrill of progression. Your casters and duelists won't get "1 shotted" by pulling aggro anymore, as the DPS numbers are more leveled out and controlled.
