I once read a reviewer's conclusion that summed up my opinion quite nicely. I believe it went something like, "Mirror's Edge is fairly short, too linear, somewhat clunky and unintuitive. Yet it does such a good job of immersing you as the player character that the aforementioned issues cease to matter."
