This game is what happens when you allow developers complete freedom to create and design a game that THEY themselves want to play aswell as share to the world, giving inspirations towards many small games or even spiritual successors to keep this type of genre alive as it's really unique, entertaining, engaging and satisfying to playthrough once you master the simple controls.

My few dislikes would be, the random crashing that would happen, the broken v-sync (broken glass = low framerate), sometimes the controls don't register properly so you end up missing jumps and lastly the combat sections where you're required to use guns in order to pass since it just doesn't fit what the game is going for and really feels more of a Publisher demand than it is a Developer choice.

Mirror's Edge from 2009 till now, is one of the most visually beautiful games with a really unique gameplay style and banger soundtrack that once again goes to show what happens when a group of developers are free to make anything they want which leads to alot of creative ideas being shared for the world to play and enjoy.
