"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." -John 3:16

Developed an avid interest in all avenues related to video gaming almost immediately after they became commercially available. Started e-gaming at an arcade in northern California in 1971. Hence, "Computer Space" ranks without doubt as my most significantly compelling and favorite e-game of all time as it was my first.

I began to collect baseball cards assiduously in early 1962. And this avocation coupled so naturally well to video gaming that both became lifelong governing passions of mine in almost a heartbeat.

Today, at age 70, I am independently wealthy and have long since retired. Thus, with no external demands being placed upon my time, I accord a multitude of hours each and every day to Steam.

I admit to being one of those unfortunates that bought into the concept of the spiritual FEAR of Satan. I fell prey to temptation that led me into severe drug and alcohol addiction during my military service. Resolving to take another persons mortal life in combat is not an easy thing to do in and of itself, but as killing is also an act of evil sanctioned by the devil himself, I recognized that I was beginning to bend to his will, thus did I become afraid...

And it is at ever-increasing levels of FEAR of Satan that one also becomes even more susceptible to his temptation and depredation. Consistent to this, I subsequently became increasingly more devil-frightened with each immoral act that I did commit, engendering furthered sins, and over time, I did indeed... cause great harm.

“I am really much more afraid of those people who have so great a fear of the devil than I am of the devil himself. Satan cannot act unless God permits it, but devil-frightened humans can cause great harm, especially if they are in positions of influence." -Saint Teresa of Avila (Doctor of the Church)

What does the Catholic Church think of Saint Teresa of Avila?

The Catholic Church holds Saint Teresa of Avila in high regard, recognizing her as a Doctor of the Church. This honor is given to only a few saints who have significantly contributed to Catholic theology and spirituality. Saint Teresa's life and teachings continue to inspire millions, and her writings such as "The Interior Castle," have become essential resources for understanding the path to holiness and the importance of mental prayer. Her legacy is celebrated for its emphasis on the love of God and the practice of virtues such as humility, obedience, and love of neighbor. The Church continues to honor her memory and the impact she had on the spiritual life of Catholics around the world.

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." -Psalm 23:4

Catholics believe that to insult another person in their presence is to commit an act of contumely. And my profile constitutes my online presence. Contumely sins against justice and charity, for it violates one's right to the honor and marks of respect that accord with a person's character and moral standing. It is not merely a failure to pay due honor to a person, but rather, it is a demonstrable act of deliberate dishonor that expresses contempt.

As a Catholic, I regard, in essentia, any attempt to defame; slander; or libel another person to not only be untoward, but intolerable as well. And I will respond in concordance with RCC doctrine when it occurs here at my discretion.

Why would anyone pay a visit to a profile, and then deliberately choose to leave some form of nasty comment behind upon leaving? If you found the profile to be cringe, then why not just keep the hateful thoughts to yourself and simply leave? Oh, and BTW, it is not wise to intentionally involve your family in an imbroglio with someone else, especially one that holds the potential to become explosive...
