One of the best games ever for me. It captures the tragedy, risk, and beauty of space faring in a clean, hard as nails and straightforward spaceship management sim. It's a beautiful little game that evokes so much atmosphere through simple visuals and a beautiful soundtrack. Sure, it could be a bit more forgivingly balanced, a little less heavy with cruel RNG. I've played for over 30 hours and not beat it on easy (this run is close though!!) But honestly, i dont mind that it;s so brutal. I keep coming back. I wouldnt want every game to be like this, but it works for this one. Space is mercilessly apathetic. To reflect that, we deserve a sci fi game that feels disempowering and fraught.
