Aww you're so observant. It's happening soon, on 9/22/24 and yes I"m ready for some cake. I have the most awesome cake ordered.

does the piece of cake mean what I think it does (see chat). If so then *starryeyes*

I find it somber but endearing and like I said the music is really lovely. The most difficulty I've had is jumping on clouds that disappear and reappear as you jump along. There is a nifty rewind button so you can go back as far as you like and you never get killed. You don't need speed more precision at times. The game seems to save automatically at good points. It's a nice evening chill game. I'm going to give Contrast another go because the story intrigues me.

If the overall visual tone is more-or-less like the stuff shown on the Store page trailer + stills, then I'll be ok with that, I think. It's more : I've looked a bit at some playthroughs (not too much, in case I get it) - and it looks like they're moving along pretty quickly. So there's the speed issue, and precision in the platforming too. How far back do you get set if you miss a jump and hit those thorns? And does it NEED speed, or can I bumble my way through, you think?

It's a tiny bit platforming (some of the birds I gave up on) but it's more puzzle like. I've recently played Iris Fall, Contrast, and now Shady, all shadow games. I like Shady the best. I don't know if you would like it, it's amazing music and fun puzzles but pretty somber. It's feels like part of it is set in a mental institution. I couldn't get past the first level in Contrast.
