You might want to add the following workshop to your playlist as well: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/profiles/76561198022946374/myworkshopfiles/
Embah's maps are similar in that they are small and look simple but aren't.
Here is one I made that didn't get much attention when it was released but I was kind of proud of at the time. It was my attempt at making an underground type of map using only the in-game map editor. Yeah, there is a little walking involved but ... anyway, I'd be curious what your take on it is.

note: back up your maps, before continuing, is recomended.
Please exit Steam and go to the folder called C:\Program
Files\Steam\ (this is the default location for a Steam installation - if you set
a different installation directory, you will need to browse to it.
Delete all of the files in this folder except The
\Steamapps\ folder and Steam.exe (this file is listed as an application and
features the black and white Steam logo)Restart your
computer. Then, launch Steam.exe from within the Steam installation
folder, and not from a pre-existing shortcut With Steam running,
re-test the original issue Note: This process will not affect your
currently installed games.
Additionally, please complete the following process for all your installed game(s):
go into steam library / right click (eg) portal 2 / click properties / click local files /
click verify integrity of game cache.
repeat, for each game, installed in your library.
if portal 2 or any steam game is not working properly, eg crashes or other:
go into steam library / right click portal 2 / click properties / click local files /
click verify integrity of game cache.
if your portal 2 files are corupted or some missing,
steam will fix it for you.
then check to see if the issue has been resolved ?
map & screenshot locations for THINKING WITH TIME MACHINE
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Thinking with Time Machine\TWTM\puzzles
ps.
the p2c file, should be the actual puzzle.
pps.
the jpeg image for maps I have started creating, are at:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Thinking with Time Machine\portal2\puzzles
this means they are in different locations.
on portal 2 maps I created, they are in the same location.
this is unusual ?
must backup regularly.
& check the path, in case it changes, due to steam or twtm updates ?
path to portal 2 maps on a windows 7 home premium 64 bit pc.
click: start / computer / C drive (or which ever one your operating system is on) /program files (x86) / steam / steam apps / common / portal 2 / portal 2 / puzzles / double click the number to see all your portal 2 maps & screenshots of each map.
The p2c files, should be the actual maps. you will know that jpg will be your screenshots.
the number on your p2p map, will be the same as the number on your jpg screenshot.
so you can recognize your map from the screen shot & look for the p2p file,
with the same number, to find that specific map.
some times portal keeps more than one version of a map.
(they will have the same number, with another number added on at the end)
I think 1 reason for this, is it does periodic saves to your map, while you are editing it.
but if you decide to disguard the map, when closing the editor,
it has to also have the saved map, of before you made changes to it.
