Grab it & Squeal!

I was prepared for things to get hard when I bought the bunny girl game but I was surprisingly delighted to be so pegged.

As a MMO raid boss fan I mean. Although a few aspects of this game are a real pain in the butt.

Fun Bun!
- Svelte mechanics encapsulate MMO boss experience. All killer, no filler.
- Rogue-like build craft fosters creativity and exploration. The game will both let you break it and break yourself.
- Difficulty can scale to lunacy levels.

No Fun!
- Progression primarily tied to success. If you're struggling, you won't get new options for a long time.
- So much visual noise.

The Rabbit In The Room
So while the single player mode is fine on its own (a solid rogue-like bullet hell), you really need friends to jump in with you to get the full experience on offer. The game does have a Discord and public lobbies, but if you're like me, you prefer your voice chat with the acceptable number of slurs that only a curated camaraderie can offer (0 in my case, but to each their own).

Hence, the remaining portion of this review will be tips to get your friends to pick up the mean kawaii bunny girl game!

  • Tell your Final Fantasy 14 friends who let their subscription lapse after Dawntrail that there lies another path to their fix.

  • Trade your friends time in a more relaxing game to wind down afterwards, like Valorant or DOTA 2.

  • If your friends are adverse to cute things, weaponize their insecurity against them ("Are you afraid you'll like it?")

  • Pitch the game to them as a low cost test for Photosensitivity.

  • Allow them to get the entirely wrong idea about this game from the undertones of my introduction. The thirsty artists over on the community art page are also working diligently to foster this misconception.
