A really fun souls-like that is faithful in the right ways (difficulty, freedom), but also deviates in the right ways (cuteness, compelling story, accessibility options). Let the umami flow through you.

Gives me Enter The Gungeon vibes. When you get a good run, let the dopamine flow!! It's a good time.

It's not really that scary, except for near the end. It's more creepy. I don't play too many straight up adventure games, but I'm happy to say that there's only one situation where the solution was obscure and frustrating, and even then only mildly. Most of the "puzzles" make sense. Overall, its a great story and the game lends it a lot of atmosphere.

It's a Vampire Survivors clone, but it's got a lot of personality. A similar kind of silly humor as VS, but that doesn't mean that it's stale. A good time.

Took me a really long time to complete this, four years since I first played it. I think it's because every time I do I feel like crying, and with the current state of the US, that's what I felt like doing. The game isn't "fun," but certainly delivers on melancholy, nostalgia, absurdity, the bitterness of being exploited, and it's got a good amount of whimsy in there too. It's an art exhibit, ON YOUR COMPUTER, isn't that crazy!?

Hell yeah, boomer shooter fun. Final boss kinda sucks but everything else is great.

My feelings are mixed. The "gameplay" of Adios is a little weak, barely rising above the level of a to-do list with not much visible creativity outside of when you conduct a few phone calls. The lip syncing on the actors and a lot of the animation is clunky, and really breaks immersion.
On the other hand, the story is pretty good, and the voice work is masterful. I wonder if this wouldn't have been better as an audio play, podcast or some other kind of purely audio experience. It's not terrible as it is, just rough around the edges.

What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trip! Amazing experience. Take the pills and thwart some antagonists. A beautiful, ugly, and hilarious game.

Addictive roguelike, distilled and purified, coming to a dopamine receptor near you. It takes advantage of such well known mechanics like poker hands, and that makes it way super accessible too. Beware the time sink.

Instant classic. A great example of environmental storytelling and plot twists! I've been hooked on Blendogames since I played this all those years ago.
