Super good game, one of a kind, and it kept me wanting more, not because it is short, because it isn't short, but I had a lot of fun on pretty much any part of the game, defeating each boss was challenging, not too hard, but still required a few attempts, giving that sense of accomplish when you finally did. Beautiful aesthetics and nice mechanics, would recommend.

Really enjoyed this game - first off, the game's environment is inviting, full of great visuals and humor. The game play mechanics do a pretty good job accommodating different play styles without being too complex/ overly specific. While I'm struggling on how to phrase this next bit, I think the assist mode modifiers are also really well done. I get that souls games are supposed to be challenging; that you're supposed to fail, to learn, and to have your victory be that much sweeter when you've "earned it." At the same time, it can be really discouraging to face a challenge and feel like the game (and some part of the gaming community) is in your head telling you that you just don't get to play the rest of the game if you get stuck. At the end of the day, a game should be fun, and the assist mode options are flexible in how you as a player can make that happen.
