Great playing card game. Addictive. Only takes knowing some basic poker hands learning. I never thought playing poker would ever be fun again. I'm happy to be wrong.

I showed my spouse the game. She loves it now too.

There is much more latitude in AoW4 to create a people that are unique to what you feel like. I have the ability to make a big dragon leading medieval Hobbits that excrete poison from there skin and like to ride spiders into battle.

There isn't as much canon lore in AoW4 since the conflict is so variable. The thing that holds it together is a general fantasy theme.

I love the campy lore and fighting systems with the buildup of cities like a civlike thing. It scratches a good itch for me.

At first I was like, this is lame. Later after much more experimentation it works better for me. It's not replacing the keyboard, but it's still kinda cool.
