Good combat, great acting and very emotive acting.
The story is a little easy to call, but its a God of War game so I didn't go in expecting the most complicated story but its competent for where it exist.

Genuinely fun game that builds upon Dragons Dogma 1. If you liked DD1, youre going to like this one.
The pawns got a much needed update and seem alot more capable, but so do enemies.

Pawns are more likely to act independently and be either more aggressive or more cautious depending on their personality.
The Arisen's capabilities are also greater while feeling more grounded and weighty.

Performance gets choppy in cities with many NPC's but much of the game has been seamless transitions, even opening the Rift to get pawns.

FOR HEAVENS SAKE DONT DO ANY OF THE MICRO-TRANSACTIONS THEY ARE CAPCOM ♥♥♥♥ ADDONS.
All items can be earned in game. Pretend that section doesnt exist OR email capcom to tell them what a terrible idea it is.

A fantastic coop game with well done satire, great lore, and some of the most fun coop game-play in recent gaming. As of time of writing, the servers have issues when too many people are on but that is certainly not a knock against the game or company.
The game is simply explosively popular and for good reason.
Highly recommend and cant wait for more updates, support, and content.

*Changed to negative due to required PSN

**Changed back to positive cause Sony backed off.

***Changed back AGAIN cause they keep patching out the fun.

Took me awhile to beat, but after getting a consistent coop partner, it was a very fun experience.
The game is a bit clunky and shows it's age at moments, but the gunplay is consistently satisfying and the ability system, wherein you attach mods to weapons, is interesting.

A downer is the armor system, which itself holds set bonuses. This tended to narrow down your builds and fashion to certain sets.

Fantastic follow up to Risk of Rain, but in 3D!
Fun to coop and solo and has a weirdly lively modding community. Highly recommended.

The core gameplay is great, the gunplay is second to none, the character lines are all delivered great, the music is phenomenal, and the melee is crunchy and satisfying.
Missing at time of posting, is the full crafting suite that allows you to adjust your weapons more precisely, you can grow a weapon with more perks and change minor ones, but you cannot yet fully tune weapons.
These are secondary items and it feels like most of the effort went into the game's core loop. Appropriate but it does make the game feel unfinished.
The cash shop, while not THE most predatory one I've seen, is a bad look when other elements of the game are missing or unfinished.

Improvements are going to come from more content overall. More classes, weapons, maybe abilities?

The weapon blessings can be lackluster or minor if you don't get one that fits your playstyle.

I recommend this game moreso on its bones than its current state.
The structure is there and the loops is great, it needs meat.

PREPARE FOR TITANFALL.
This game is worth the campaign alone as one of the best in shooter history I feel.
The multiplayer is phenomenal, get the NorthStar client if you want to get absolutely goofy.

A phenomenal sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence.
It keeps up with the stealth elements but this time around Amicia can be played MUCH more aggressively with her new crossbow.
This game follows the formula of the previous where you play though mostly linear areas, dealing with puzzle elements and following the story along. This game however, does add some open areas to fully explore, allowing you to take a break from the linear lines and adventure around the areas.
This game also dives much deeper into the horror elements, bringing on some scenes that gave me actual pause.
Overall, definitely great experience that strongly followers its predecessor.

Buy it, Be it, Devour it.
CARRION is an almost surreal experience once you're able to pull you brain out of the fantastic game-play.
You play... something. A creature, a monster, foreign life, created life. Just something and that something is angry.
The gameplay is a slithering, grappling, slimy experience and it's all great and filled with hyper violence.
You are able to grab most things you see and can eat the rest and over time get abilities that allow you to grab more and eat more.
The story is all told via the environment and through the powers you get and its easy to slip into a catatonic monster state where you eat your way through the game.
A definite buy.

Control is an absolutely gorgeous game with a unique spin on shooting but greatly held back by, what feels like, a tacked on inventory system.
The good; Control has an amazing story, great voice acting, a mysterious setting, and is filled with memorable characters. Care was taken to make the characters unique and to give presence to the enemies as a very real threat. You feel like a powerhouse, if a bit of a glass cannon.
The bad; Poor boss balance with numerous cheap one shot mechanics and an inventory management and upgrade system that felt more like it held back the game.
You get several different forms of your primary armament, the Service Weapon, but are only able to have two out. Each form draw from a pool of slotted upgrades that only effect the numbers and don't do much for build diversity.
Overall, a definitely good experience in one of the most unique settings I can remember marred by an unnecessary inventory.
