If you've ever wanted to go from rags to riches in a medieval kingdom sandbox with multiple other NPCs and factions all trying to do the same thing, this is definitely the game for you. Whether it's killing bandits, raiding villages, sieging castles or helping a local lord out in a 3v1 fight, there's plenty of large scale combat to get involved in.

Other interesting and satisfying things to do in the game:

• Recruit a peasant woman in rags with a pitchfork and train her into a sword sister in full plate on horseback with a longsword.
  
• Get headshots from 400+ yards with a bow while mounted by firing into a horde of 40+ clustered infantry.
  
• Use blunt weapons on your troops to knockout enemies and then sell them for fat stacks of coin at nearby cities.
  
• Enter tournaments and win first prize to collect top quality gear and mounts.
  
• Use momentum based damage with a mounted lance to one shot enemies and/or horses.
  
• Get outnumbered, defeated and then captured and have most of your stuff taken. Then come back with a vengeance and grow even stronger.

Hell you can even play as a trader by taking a bit of cash, cramming horses in your party for enhanced carry weight and speed and travel the continent getting rich (buy low, sell high).

In short, game has mounts you can ride and blades you can swing. Another great game who's title tells the truth: 11/10

Based on my personal playstyle though, I'd call the game Mount & Bow.

Nothing quite like driving a truck filled to the brim with explosives while dodging automatic weapons fire on the way to the front lines. Who knew you could play a wargame that actually rewards logistics play?

Logged over 100 hours, saw thousands of foxholes. Game title is legit: 11/10

A fairly interesting take on the top-town colony building genre. Unlike most games, in this one you control the behavior of the villagers by "families" which are essentially groups of villagers with the same profession. In addition, instead of everything harvested and collected going into a central repository to be freely used by everyone, it remains in the family until the following happens:
- They have a shop to sell goods to other villagers
- They use a market to sell to offscreen customers
- As the leader you directly trade/tax/take the resources

This adds somewhat of an additional logistics layer to distribution of resources which can make things interesting.

Another aspect is the meeting the periodic requests of the King for resources and wealth. Makes for interesting decisions about when/what to trade for vs. create yourself in order to meet the requirements within the time limit.

The campaign sets a nice pace of missions designed to introduce the player to all the various professions each family can contribute along with the associated production chains required to supply the buildings/workstations/tools to be used.

Overall I had a good time playing the game and it's probably one I'll come back to when I get the desire for some colony building again.

Best action packed archaeology preservation and survival simulator I've ever played. Some things I learned from this game:

• Bows beat automatic weapons.
  
• Climbing axe makes a kama look like a butter knife.
  
• Much more reliable to grab ledges and hang on to things with one hand than with two.

Would let a video game teach me about how real life works again: 11/10

Who knew a strategy base building game where you have to pay your heroes through objective waypoints to "control" them could be so fun?

Shame there aren't more games out there with a similar style of play.

Very fun idle RPG game where you run a tavern and enlist customers to go out and adventure in Dungeons to bring you back loot.

Game lives up to it's name as you drink sodas to make your characters stronger: 11/10

Provides amazing value for the price!

A great 2D sandbox game to play while you wait on the Starfield expansion/creation kit to come out.

Gives off strong Terraria vibes but with a more structured questline, spaceships, and many planets to explore.

For $14.99 or less on sale, this game is 100% a steal.

Very fun Co-op twin stick shooter with guns, explosives and vehicles that a team of up to four players can use to defend Super Earth. Teamplay is a must given you're all on a shared screen so you can't wander off from each other. Throw some friendly fire into the mix and you've got a recipe for amazing coordination or an absolute disaster.

Pro Tip: Don't stand under incoming drop pods.

Hopefully the upcoming Helldivers II will take the experience to the next level as a 3rd person shooter.

Very cool game that has a nice mix of active and idle play as you gather, craft, fight, and expand your territory.

Can confirm I spent a good amount of time "foraging". 11/10 - would play a game with an accurate title again.

Very interesting auto-battler game based on the DOTA franchise with both single-player and multiplayer content.

I wonder how long it will take for a top down life/farming simulator to inject auto-battling into the game as a form of combat.
