Everything about this game and the dev just gives off good vibes. The game is incredible with so much depth. I've had it a while now, but I've recently dumped so many hours in out of nowhere. The dev frequently streams the game and shows it off, and has a blast playing his own game. I think that alone speaks to the quality.

Honestly, I don't really know all this DLC adds to my runthroughs, but I still enjoy what I can do with it.

While I interact frequently with ideology, it does sometimes feel a bit hollow. However, I think it's mainly because I don't play the game in a lot of different ways. I don't do the High Live meme, or the rancher memes, or really anything that goes against my main way of playing. However, I could see it pushing a playthrough into a completely different style. It's still a good DLC and I've enjoyed it.

I love it, it's a fun and interesting new way to play the game and support the dev. Price is high, but honestly, with rimworld being one of my top 3 most played games on steam, whatever.

It opens up a whole new way to mod the game; so despite what others are saying, it really does open up new avenues to mod that previously did not exist.

As far as the people who say there are mods that add more content, most of these mods are buggy, feel out of place, and generally do not stay within the scope of the main game. I mostly play vanilla with like 5-10 QoL mods. I play with no content mods and man, I still have hundreds of hours and could have many more through anomaly alone.

I played in many of the playtests and enjoyed the crap out of this game. Sometimes I wish there were more places for destruction, or a faster way to put out cover, or something, but overall this game is a blast. From time to time, when playing with friends, I encounter an issue where we get sent to different servers or it just can't seem to find any. Hopefully this gets resolved, but the devs are awesome and dedicated. Great game, great fun. Lots to unlock.

I really love this game. I used to play it on and off when I first got it, then I suddenly got really into it. I played heavily for weeks, and eventually joined a community. This is a game filled with huge amounts of potential and what was already there was incredible.

However, as many others have said, the acquisition by Team17 has impacted the quality of the game. Following the first 13.5 Health Patch, there were some significant issues. This included a reload issue with all bolt action rifles, server performance, and various other minor bugs that made the game a little difficult to play.

Update 14 added the British faction and 2 new maps. I haven't played much on them, but I do find the maps enjoyable. Worth noting, I am primarily an armor player, having rank 10 as a crew member, and 9 as a commander. I spend almost all my time in a tank. The past few updates have been miserable for armor. 13.5 introduced some issues that affected server performance, which made driving a nightmare for a while. The British armor is simply put, awful. The Cromwell is fine I guess. Its low profile helps it in medium fights, but it's still useless versus heavy tanks. The Firefly however, is straight up garbage.

Update 14 increased player movement speed (yes, they've adjusted acceleration speed, but overall speed is still increased), but did not acknowledge how this would affect anything else. The Firefly has far an away one of the slowest turning rates in the game. Tanking has become more and more miserable with these changes. They made a mention of changing armor in a future update, but gave no details, and with their current track record that is concerning.

Armor is an awful rock, paper, scissors game each engagement. It often matters who sees who first. However, there are major issues with LOD and rendering in the game, meaning you can clearly see a full tank, but there are walls, cranes, boxes, walls, etc that your shots will hit, but you don't know it. Somehow the Firefly can be hit from the front by a medium (most other tanks can't) and Team17 seems to think it's a bug and can't figure it out?

With the current state of the game, the price increase that occurred, and a concerning lack of care for the core identity of the game makes me not recommend Hell Let Loose currently. If the devs can regain the trust of the players, make necessary adjustments, and head back to the original vision of the game, I can certainly recommend this amazing experience.
