2021 Review: Negative (10,086 hours)
Time's passed, things got better, worse, then unnecessarily complicated and tedious. Just isn't that fun anymore, whats left of the community are either try-hards, scammers, or drama seekers. It's harder to find fun people to hangout with, that aren't already in a clique from the old days making it harder for newer players to really connect (assuming there are new players?) That being said I love / loved this game and it'll be a memory, I've sunk too much time and money into a ftp mmo that barely adds new things and just reuses old assets, so for me it's time to move on and say goodbye. Old Review: Positive (5000 hours)
Hmm.. I've been playing since December 10thish? of 2013 lol
So I would say I'm still newish to the game, Mabi is.. Unique, People complain about the glitches, I've always found some of the funniest moments when running into these, most of the time they arent even serious things, for example I once punched my friend through the dunbarton wall during a pvp match it was hilarious, the point being sometimes bugs arent a bad thing.
Though ive been playing for about a year and a month or two I've discovered I'm a higher lvl than a bunch of people who've been playing 2-3 years, the lvling curve isn't broken it just requires effort it also helps if you dont wait until lvl 100 to rebirth :P
I love the community, the people you can meet can end up being your best friends in the end, I personally try to help any new people I run across and returning players from whenever, It's always fun because helping people gives you something to do, lots of players do the same thing as me and help others which is great to see.
Nothings quite like the open class system mabi has, if I want to be a chef and punch some monsters in the mouth as a boxer with tangerine gloves, then I can do it because I want to ! You want to use guns but also stab people with a sword then go for it! (Personally I recommend going warrior first just for the defense/hp boost)
PvP can be very very broken, however, again The community! theres certain rules thats always agreed upon before a match begins prohibiting certain skills just for the sheer fact that they are broken, so pvp "can" be fun.
One of the biggest issues is the lack of "support" for like if your account got hacked or your client doesnt work etc..
Other than that I dont personally have any issues with the game, honestly if you put a little effort into the game you'll understand how to avoid most bugs and most of the bugs you avoid arent even big things ust mostly stuff like walking glitches.
