An incredible remake. You can tell that Motive were passionate about this because as a remake, it really is exceptional. The gold standard for how all others should revisit their classics. The gunplay, the tension, the ship... just excellent. Issac's voice is a nice addition, and I love that the characters are considerably more fleshed out in this one. They're people, and not just talking heads.

My only complaint is that it requires quite beefy hardware to really enjoy, and even then there are some performance issues on the mightiest of PC's; my PC is well above specs here, but a number of chapters had no end of stuttering problems that just didn't resolve at any point and I'm using a PCI-e Gen4 nvme drive.

That aside though, it truly is an incredible game and you should play it.

Only played for an hour, but I also only bought it 6 hours ago, so...

I love it. Great gameplay loop, cool presentation and it satisfies that craving that I've had since Geometry Wars disappeared. Add controller support so I can play this on my Legion Go and I will be happier than a pig in... well, you know.

For a fiver? Well worth it.

Bought for £4 - Less than a lunchtime meal deal in most places these days and purchased almost entirely because of the *NATIVE* controller support; I play a lot on the Lenovo Legion Go and controller support is a huge plus.

Thinks I like:
+ Presentation and UI.
+ Customers tell you if your prices are too high with an icon
+ Easy to navigate
+ Product licences are individual purchases

Thinks that need improving:
- Vsync support; screen tearing is atrocious on my Legion Go
- No Storage Section (?) - Why?
- No restocker staff.

Overall; Controller support is great, but it still needs work elsewhere.

Update: OK. so I've now played TEN hours in Co-Op, too. It's worth the admission price purely on the Co-Op.

There's no doubt a lot to add, feature wise, but I'm hopeful that the developer will stick to it. It's a little feature lacking at the moment and the overall game world presentation could definitely use a lick of paint as it feels a bit barren, but if you're looking for a (different) shop simulator then go for it, especially at it's fairly low launch price AND co-op options.

The basic game foundations are sound and works well on my Ryzen 5 5500/ 1080Ti.

To Fekk Games; Don't let me down.

Completed previously on Xbox Series X.

It's a Dead Island game. If that sounds like a good thing to you and you liked the other two, you should buy it. It's outstanding graphically and has a charm to it that keeps me coming back.

Plenty of game to enjoy, although I'd highly recommend you tag some friends along. It's just more fun.

Ignore my playtime - Xbox One player here with 52 days playtime on console.

Possibly the gold standard for looter shooters and plenty to do even past the endgame to make the modest investment absolutely worth it. Good looking, fluid playing and fun with friends.

Often on sale and would highly recommend at it's sale price point all day long.

I have some issue with updates; namely that they often break the game in some way or other and fixes often aren't quick.

But if you're looking for a cheap looter shooter you can pour thousands of hours into, then The Division 2 is for you.

I'd still recommend even at full price.

Hardspace: Shipbreaker is one of those games you will either love or hate. It's not going to appeal to everyone, and that's OK.

If the idea of breaking up spaceships is your idea of fun, then it has you covered. The story feels a bit hamfisted in and some of the dialogue is... not great, but reduce it to reducing ships and your work-related debt and there's plenty of hours of entertainment to be had here. It's decent graphically and for those of you so wondering, is a great experience on Steam Deck. (90% of my playtime is on-deck play)

Campaign is a good 30+ hours, depending on your shipbreaking ability.

A good chill out game for those who like to kick back and play at their own pace.

Recommended.

Changing my review to "Not Recommended" for a number of reasons. A neat idea of a game that used to work mostly OK, but has a number of bugs that bring down the experience. Larger stores with lighting and big storerooms really drag the framerate down massively to the point it simply isn't enjoyable any more.

The game, at least for now, appears to have been completely dropped by the developer. I'm not satisfied with the "He's building a team" update because it doesn't actually update the game at all. "He's building a team" doesn't fix a number of bugs that should be receiving IMMEDIATE attention.

The community discord is as toxic as hell. Left near immediately. Don't join.

The forums aren't much better - any legitimate issue is met by "it's just one guy!" responses; people seem to forget that others spent REAL MONEY on a PRODUCT and they're not satisfied. "just one guy" isn't a get out clause for some of the nonsense I've seen over the last 6 -7 weeks; that "just one guy" has most certainly became moderately wealthy with Supermarket Simulators out-of-nowhere success.

Avoid until something significant is updated.

If it is (I doubt it very much), I will return to this review accordingly.
