the first thing you'll notice about this

game is that it is much harder than

kill em there's more of them but let's

be honest here they just turned good at

doom like I am if you shoot the shield

guys with the plasma gun they'll explode

and do AoE damage if you stick this

guy's cannon with a grenade he can't

shoot anymore

big googa his arms is his readings the

fighter demons aren't really a threat so

the trick is to flamethrower a big group

of my armor boost the ramming guy is a

total ♥♥♥♥ unless you freeze him get

behind him and start shooting his tail

every enemy has an exploitable weakness

every weapon has a use and every piece

of dooms combat puzzle falls into place

to avoid getting cornered you need to

constantly be moving in this game and

still have the gravity pads which never

get old but you also have monkey bars

now to swing off of recharging - move

and a shotgun grappling hook because

this is a good game it wants you to keep

adapting and cycling through different

strategies your eyes are shifting from

aiming to looking out for health pickups

to check in your HUD to see which

abilities are uncool down the only thing

that doesn't work is the chainsaw you

press a button watch an animation and

get your ammunition back it's kind of a

retread of the glory kill mechanic and

the game itself actually introduces a

better solution for bringing ammo into

the gameplay loop with these guys if you

do a headshot on them they burst out a

bunch of ammo and health genius doom is

now a strand type game like Mario there

is extra lives and platforming and goofy

sound effects and a green guy that I

don't know what this is supposed to be

Ghostbusters dual or Rick and pickles

you be the judge like I said before

enemies are tankier and when

you do that you risk making your guns

and the player feel weak but Doom has a

[] trick up and scene whenever you

blast a demon with a shotgun shell run

explosive you'll actually knock the meat

off of their bones it is gross and an

amazing way to show how much help the

demon has left

skipped when you fall off a ledge you

don't outright die the levels are more

distinct however however fans of doom

2018 s dynasty mode will be said to not

see it return here and they also removed
