Despite the many negative reviews about Payback, I quite enjoyed it. The story line was cheesy but it was decent. Yes, the upgrading system for cars was a bit tedious but it didn't take much. The game was very visually good with great graphics and scenery.

From startup I was caught by engaging retro game style music and easy menus. Everything is intuitive. Easy to learn, and instantly fun. Graphics are simple, but very good. Colorful, easy on the eyes, and you still get a great sense of speed while driving.

Although simple, this doesn’t mean the game is not challenging. The selection of tracks is vast. Some you cruise through, others need some practice. There is a nice progression in the World Tour, unlocking tracks, new cars, and upgrades as you win. A large campaign that will give you a lot of playtime no matter how good you are. As of this review I have completed the tour, working on the master tournaments which are tough to win. At least for me. I recently also had the chance to play through the Rookie series with my niece who also loved it. So you can consider this review relevant for 2 completely different demographics

If you ARE a master of modern racing games you might find this a little simple and easy. Then again, you might find it refreshing. Like a nice Sunday walk along the route you normally fight hard to get in a good run? This might just be a game for everyone.

A nice and simple strategy game. Relaxing most of the time, really stressful on others when you are getting swarmed by an army of Greed. Its got a zen pixel art look and nice relaxing music. Great to play while listening to a podcast or watching a show.

MHW is the best game in the series. For those unaware, the premise is to simply kill monsters, obtain their materials, use those materials to craft stronger gear, and fight stronger monsters.
There is a skill involved in learning monsters attack patterns to play through the fight, where each hunt can take 10-20 minutes on average. You get eased in with weak large monsters at first, until you eventually hit a wall. You'll know it when you get to it.
Pick your new weapon main, learn your combos and how to play out the hunts, and you'll have some of the most fun you can have in an ARPG.
However if you could get it on sale with the Iceborne expansion, you'll be busy for hundreds of hours. The game is absolutely beautiful, so make sure you actually meet the recommended specs. If you don't, MH:Rise is a great option, however Rise is noticeably easier than World which is one of the few reasons World is a superior experience.

I don't care what you say this is not as fun as real life, i remember playing this with my dad and my uncle as well, would recommend.
