Don't you like fun games?

Besides the obvious statements, this game is a labor of love and it shows through its couple years of development. Truly showing off beyond the capabilities of the GZDoom engine, while being a phenomenally enjoyable Retro FPS. You know, fast paced action shooting, without a lot of the fluff and story/movies/"other" getting in the way of what makes a game a GAME and not try to be a movie.

OpenXCOM, stellar modability and modding community, XCOM Files, not a lot more I need to say. You can get this $5 game from 1993 with endless playability and decent difficulty challenge options, and never be bored. Compared to say, an early access game you just GOTTA buy cus IGN tells you to do so for $40-$80. But it'll forever be a buggy POS cus modern devs don't know how to dev creatively or imaginatively anymore.

Where have we all gone wrong bros? Return to XCOM. And fight the Men in Black.

The series has lost its soul completely since Civilization I-IV. The latest patches, DLCs, 'leader pass' only solidifying how soulless and unfun this game has become. You'd need a slew of Steam Workshop mods to make it even remotely entertaining.

Not looking forward to VII at this point with money grubbing Firaxis. Soulless franchise.
