Workshop has seen ups and downs over the years but I do think this remains a timeless classic with friends who are as equally insane as you.

I abhor gacha games. I think they are ultimately a symptom of a greater issue across games as whole, but I digress.

Anything you can say about most gachas can be said about Limbus, and I will not pretend otherwise just because its made by the people who are making my favorite world. Despite this, Limbus is likely the most fair gacha since Dragalia Lost. You are able to get every single gacha thing in the game without even having to roll the gacha, and its not hard either. The biggest issue lies in its grind for EXP and upgrade materials, but it lacks RNG artifacts that other gacha games have (thank god.)

Moving on from the gacha...
Limbus is the third game in a series of games by Project Moon that have continously captivated me with their rich story and worldbuilding, as well as exceptional character writing. It, likely, is a good onboarding point for new Project Moon fans, though I highly reccomend playing and finishing Lobotomy Corporation and Library of Ruina first if you truly are interested.
This game starts with an ensemble cast of 12 (lovable) lunatic idiots, who by all means should not be getting the job done but manage to do so. The feeling of just pulling through, both through its more challenging combat later on in the game, but also in the story is gripping, and stakes never feel like they are weighted towards the protagonists favor for plot.

The gameplay on its surface is a simple auto battler - rpg, but has much more depth than you'd initially think. There are loads of strategies you can employ, some more convoluted than the rest, and the combat system hardly feels limited in this regard. I'd say give it a go, play through the first three Cantos if you can help it, and if you don't like it after 3 I'd say move on. It does get harder after Canto 3 as well, so if the difficulty wasn't something you were feeling, then I'd reccomend either watching Esgoo's tutorial video (as the in-game one is miserably bad, which is consistent for PM games).

Well worth your time if you're interested in the franchise. Frequently goes on sale with its DLC for disgustingly cheap, and the playtime you'd get out of each individually is no small amount without feeling like there isn't original content to be doing.

I have grievances with Monster Hunter: World, but ultimately, for people who are new to the series its a good starting place and will more than likely be a fun experience.

Incredible game bogged down by neglect of its creators to do the bare minimum. Please for the love of god fix the game.

LIbrary of Ruina is a game that I feel very complicated feelings about.
At its core, it's a very good and well put together game that continues the story of Lobotomy Corporation, in a world that I am heavily invested in. The story of the game is nothing short of amazing and Iove every part of it. Project Moon is amazing at coming up with worlds that you just want to learn more and more about, and Ruina only enhances that.
The game itself is an interesting take on a deckbuilder- it's easy to think of Ruina as a game where you serve as a "Dungeon" for people to try and loot. However, if they fall in your dungeon you gain their loot, which you can then use against the people who come in after. This is a really unique take on a progression system, but it does have its flaws.
The game boasts a wide range of lovable characters, I'm 100% sure most people will have one they latch onto. Sometimes that even being the opponents you face!
The game has an absolutely amazing soundtrack. There's no question about it, PM games always have amazing OSTs. The music group Mili also composed a few songs that play in game, and they're amazing as well.

All this being said...
I think one of the biggest problems with Ruina is to do with a really rough end game, and not in a way that feels like it makes sense. When you lose a fight, you lose the item to re-do said fight. To do that fight, you must beat the one before it again to get another chance at it. This is all fine until you reach late game, where these end up both being hour long fights that take a lot of thought. You can lose to one boss, and then fight the one that comes before it if things are really bad.
I understand that Project Moon games are meant to be hard, which it isn't something I really have a gripe with at its core. I loved Lobotomy Corporations difficulty and its end game felt great to get through. But due to the nature of Ruina having a lot of different RNG mechanics (dice rolls, what abno pages you get, etc) it can really suck to lose hard fights because it went out of your control. And not to mention that certain late game fights *cough* Keter Realization *cough* don't even feel like they were playtested makes it all the more worse in honesty.

Overall Ruina is a great game, but its endgame really suffers some weird design choices.
