I recommend this game, but there are a few major conditions to that recommendation.

If you aren't a fan of RWBY or have no idea what that is, avoid this game at all costs, you most likely are going to hate it.
Whatever you do! Don't pay anymore than $5 for it, it quite absurd that they think this game is worth $20, with the very little amount of content that's in it.
Don't expect deep combat out of this game, the game literally has only a handful of combos and can get repetitive quite quickly, so if you are fine with casual and repetitive hack n slash combat then, you'll probably be able to enjoy it for an hour or so at a time.
The story, is almost non-existent and makes little to no sense, and overall can just be ignored. So don't get this if you want a deep story, because you aren't going to find it here.
The environments are cheaply put together and overall uninteresting.
The collectibles in this game are a joke, The artifacts scattered throughout each level have little worth, meaning they don't seem to add up to anything special and are there just to give an XP boost, which is lame. For a game this cheaply made that is selling for $20, you would think that they would have added costumes you could unlock or other characters, than just selling that stuff as DLC.

Now then, don't get me wrong, this game isn't that great and honestly quite bad objectively, however the only reason I am recommending it, is because it's better than playing Amity Arena. If you actually want to play a RWBY game, this is the best one to date, however sadly that's not saying not saying much. So in the end either buy this game really cheap or hope that Rooster Teeth releases a more competent game in the future, worth the $20 dollar price tag.
