it's fine but man it could have been a lot better

there's a lot i wish was different in dis game, da racing itself feels like it's missing a few things short of it being exciting, and i wish da tracks were more varied in theme, and for a game where teamwork is necessary to win, i wish da ai was a bit better instead of it ramming me away from a wisp capsule and not following my slipstream when i'm driving in a straight line

i know it's weird to complain about da story but oh my gosh wat is goin on??? it makes no sense and these characters personalities are weird and their dialogue is just ????????????? i know after seeing frontier's writing, most of da personality problems are probs goin away but my gosh how did it get so bad

i have a bunch of questions:
why are some dialogue in da story mode repeated?
why is dodon pa stupid?
why did they pick sonic color's theme for sonic's ultimate?
why did they pick chao over cream?
why is sonic so dismissive about any danger his friends may face?
why is big so... infantilized? like he shouldn't be dumb or absentminded
why does shadow say "so this is what it feels like to fly"? honey, you've flown before
why does shadow have a car mod named after maria?
why is blaze not a fan of water, heights and da cold?
why is zavok working for eggman?
why do no one bring up da fact they race through an eggman facility on tracks pre-chapter seven?
why does tails say "who's your daddy?" to shadow?

if i could make a few adjustments to da teams it would look a bit like dis:
team sonic: sonic, tails, knuckles
team rose: amy, cream, big
team dark: shadow, rouge, omega
team chaotix: espio, charmy, vector
team dimension: blaze, silver, marine
team eggman: metal sonic, eggman, sage (i know she wasn't introduced until frontiers)
team deadly: zavok, and two others (idk who fits best here i never played lost world)

team ark: maria, gerald robotnik, emerl
team doom: doom's eye, black bull, black doom
team fighters: fang, bean, bark
team forgotten: honey, ray, mighty
team chaos: tikal, chao/omochao, chaos

team 06: sonic man, elise, shopekeeper
team classic: classic sonic, flicky, ivo robotnik
team archie: sally, rotor, bunnie
team underground: sonia, aleena, manic
team idw: tangle, whisper, surge
