No Man's Sky is nothing like the title that it was when it first launched itself onto the PCs of thousands of excited gamers. What started as a mess of a game has over time become an intergalactic exploration game with near infinite replayability, through free update after free update. No Man's Sky offers nearly infinite planets to explore, each one filled with wildlife, flora, and minerals to discover. While this does get somewhat repetitive, there's tons more to do, from quests, to the story, to base building, to finding and buying new ships, to digging up artifacts, to learning different languages, there is always something to do. The customization options available to you when it comes to your ship upgrades, suit upgrades, tool upgrades, you're able to customize a lot. Base building allows for some great creativity and freedom in creating what you want. If you're looking for a survival exploration game with near infinite content, No Man's Sky is the game for you.

This game is an insult to game developers everywhere. This game took me 12 minutes to beat the entire game and half of that was spent on the first level because believe it or not, the developer forgot to put the finish on the FIRST LEVEL. THE FIRST LEVEL IN THE GAME ISN'T EVEN FINISHED. When you reach the end of the first level, you have to manually go back to the level select screen yourself. The game has like 8 levels all of which are the most boring, bland brainless levels in a video game I've ever seen. No challenge, half the levels consist of making 4 jumps total and avoid a spike and boom you're done. The fact that the developers thought it was ok to charge money for this game is absolutely insane, let alone to charge $4 for it. You know what else you can get for $4? 20 McNuggets, and thats a far better deal than this joke of a game.

Pummel Party promises to be a fun alternative to Mario Party but despite the ability to attack other players during your turns, fails to deliver the fun of Mario Party. The biggest thing that makes Pummel Party unique from Mario Party is the ability to attack the other players with items you pick up. While this can be fun and provide some entertainment, ultimately it drags out turns and doesn't add a ton of fun to the game. The pace of everything in this game is extremely slow, from the animations of things happening on the board, to how long it takes for players to pick an item, find who they want to attack, and finally watch the attack happen. It was not unusual for turns to last 10 minutes with 4-5 players, this just leaves players waiting and waiting and is not fun, even when you're playing with friends. Now the minigames, oh my god the minigames. The minigames are either boring and not fun, slow paced, completely broken by players being able to stun each other, meaning you end up not being able to move for 30 seconds at a time in some cases when stunning players adds nothing to the minigame, or they control like absolute garbage. the amount of times the whole voice chat would collectively go "Oh God not this game again" was astounding. Any minigame involving controlling a vehicle is borderline unplayable due to the horrendous controls. Overall Pummel Party tries to innovate on Mario Party but the new mechanics don't add much and just increase turn lengths unnecesarily and the minigames are garbage and unfun to play.

Tower Unite is best described in my opinion as Club Penguin for older audiences. It takes what Club Penguin did and builds upon the foundation of a great social game to create a truly fantastic social game that can be enjoyed by anyone. The main hub of the game, the plaza has plenty of fun things to do there alone such as fishing, frequent minigames, an arcade, bowling, a casino, and plenty of shops where you can buy things to customize your condo. Yes, you get a condo, and can purchase more condos to fill with goodies and items from the workshop to build your dream place, and you can host or visit other player's and their condos. The condos and the plaza alone could be an amazing game but theres fully fleshed out minigames as well such as minigolf, ball race, kart racing, a zombie shooter, and others. All of these are fun and it's not too hard to find games since there's a steady player base for the game. If you're a fan of online social games, you will absolutely love this game, there's tons of content and always something to do. The developers are also constantly working on adding more content which is amazing.

AVICII Invector is a fantastic tribute to a fantastic artist. If you're a fan of Avicii, you will love this game. All the songs you could want are featured and the rhythm aspect of the game is wonderfully executed with multiple different difficulty settings so you can choose how intense of an experience you want. The controls work perfect and I never felt like it didn't read my imputs or delayed in reading them, even on higher difficulties where you have to do more imputs in closer succession. The tracking done for the songs are all great and really fit with the beats and notes of the songs, every song feels good and fluid, and matches with the tracking. The visuals are great for this type of game, the different worlds look great and the backgrounds and effects fit perfectly with the music and game without distracting you. Overall this game is a fantastic tribute to Avicii and the fact that 25% of the proceeds go to the Tim Bergling Foundation show that this game really was made with love and it shows.

This is a fantastic beginning to the YS series. The combat is fast, fluid and fun with enemies that are constantly changing to keep things fresh. You go through the tower, unlocking new items that grant you new access to areas. The boss encounters are all unique, challenging and really shine in this game. Every boss has a pattern you have to learn in order to beat it. This game also has a really engaging and interesting story with some very good characters that keeps you invested in wanting to continue. You can also play through the game as 3 different characters, I only played through it with Yunica so I can't say how it changes the gameplay or story too much, but it is available. The soundtrack is also beautiful as are most Falcom soundtracks. If you're a fan of action RPGs this game is the perfect way to get into the YS series as it lays down the groundwork for modern YS games.

I reccomend these games but only for a specific group of people. If you love older games that have challenging combat and don't hold your hand at all then I think you'll find some enjoyment in this game. Unfortunately for the wider audience, it's hard to recommend this game. There are no maps at all in this game which means navigating the already confusing areas near impossible without a guide, in fact half the time you won't know where to go or what you're supposed to be doing. In order to finish the first game I had to follow a guide for the entire final half of the game, however the bosses and combat is fun and challenging, especially the final boss of YS 1. The final boss of YS 1 is one of the hardest I've ever faced in gaming and the feeling of beating it is one I won't forget any time soon. Unfortunately after playing through 1 with the help of a guide I didn't have the patience to finish the second one after another 2 hours of following a guide. I'm a fan of the YS series but it's hard to recommend these games otherwise just due to how dated the game design is nowadays. If you're a fan of games from this time however I think you'll really enjoy them, especially the sound track which is amazing.

If you like difficult platformers that require you to do fast and precise movements with diffferent powerups then you will love this game. Every level is different and offers a unique challenge and the powerups the game introduces are great and the levels are built around these powerups instead of the powerups being made for the levels which is crucial to a game like this. Every level also has a faster time to try and beat if you want and shows the fastest times and the leaderboards at the end which makes you want to keep trying time and time again to go faster. There's also collectibles you can try and find in each level if you're into that kind of thing. These are often well hidden and require you to think to try and find them. The other thing worth mentioning is the soundtrack. The soundtrack for this game will leave you headbanging throughout your playthrough and its absolutely amazing.

One of the worst games I have ever played. I couldn't even last 30 minutes due to the PAINFULLY slow movement. This could've been an ok arcade shooter but you move SO SLOW. It's like playing as a snail being weighed down by a bowling ball, it's horrible. There's no enemy variation and there's just no reason whatsoever to play it over any other arcade space invaders style shooter.

What Remains of Edith Finch tells a story that will stick with you long after your first, second, or even third playthrough. I've played this game multiple times both on switch, and on steam, and every playthrough is better than the last due to how much time and effort went into cramming the house and sequences with tiny details so that you notice something new every single time you play it. The game has you going through your old house and playing through sequences that allow you to learn about your families past. These sequences are all unique and absolutely spectacular at what they look to achieve. The story telling in this game is spectacular and the unique use of words and subtitles throughout the game really help to elevate the experience. The soundtrack does a great job of setting the atmosphere as well but the main reason you play this game is for the story. The story that unfolds you throughout the game is one of pain, loss, and death. Parts of this game hit you like a ton of bricks. The more you explore the house, the more you will get out of the story, and multiple playthroughs only enhance the experience. If you love narratives and stories, I highly recommend this game.
