I tried to like this game, I really did, however the poor controls, and frustrating level design left me leaving for good, after multiple instances of me forcing myself to keep going. This game is unplayable without a controller, don't even try to, it will not go well for you, however even with a controller, the controls just are not good. The game asks you to perform some precise platforming and pair that with poor controls and a motorcycle going at fast speeds that carries its momentum and it's a recipe for disaster. It left me so frustrated I couldn't keep going. The story is boring and bland and doesn't hook you at all. I gave this game multiple chances, I wanted to like this game but I just couldn't get past the poor controls and level design.

Imagine you're a little kid, and you get to go to the arcade for the day. Your eyes open wide as you walk in and see all the machines there, waiting to be played and enjoyed, and you look over to the prize counter and fix your eyes on that one massive prize you always imagine yourself taking home but always end up a couple hundres tickets short of. That feeling of magic as you win a jackpot, the feeling of dispair as you just miss out on another jackpot and get a measly 5 tickets instead. Those feelings that only the arcade can provide you with. That's what you get with this game, there's multiple arcades and a carnival and a whole open world to explore with tons of different machines to play that all play just like they do in real life. If you're a fan of the arcade, you will absolutely adore this game, just like I did. The developer is constantly working on new updates and is doing a fantastic job. I can't recommend this game enough.

Garfield Kart - Furious Racing is a great meme game to play with friends. Thats about the only situation is which I can recommend this game however. The tracks are very basic and the controls are extremely finicky and the game has its fair share of awful physics, however pair that along with the legendary cast of characters and some friends and its an incredible experience only possible in a game like Garfield Kart however if you're looking at this game as an actual racing game, its not very good at all.

Phasmophobia offers a unique multiplayer experience best played with friends. The premise of Phasmophobia is simple but brilliantly executed. You go into a location and have to hunt a ghost, using a variety of tools to discover its location to then try and figure out which type of ghost it is by collecting evidence. The atmosphere for this type of game is fantastic. The bigger levels are truly terrifying and you can easily get lost. The ghost's actions of groaning, or throwing things at you will truly creep you out and the hunts are always tense and scary. Seeing a ghost for the first time is an experience you will not forget. Unfortunately the game does get repetitive, however if you enjoy the gameplay loop, you will love this game, especially alongside friends.

PAC-MAN 256 offers a unique Pac-man experience that is easy to come back to time after time again. The powerups keep the game fresh and every run is different than the last. The ability to choose and upgrade each power up allows you to create a loadout that suits your playstyle and constantly unlocking new powerups keeps you playing, If you like Pac-man you will enjoy this game.

Clawfish is one of the most relaxing and charming games I've played recently. You get around half an hour to 45 minutes of good old fashioned claw machine goodness with some twists. Each claw machine has a gimmick which keeps the game from becoming stale. There is a bit of an issue with the fish hugging the walls of the machine or getting stuck in corners but this doesn't take away from the overall experience. The machines are in a small hub world with hidden fish in buckets you can free. Theres also some cute little things you can do such as read posters, get a drink, or sit on a bench which are all nice touches. Clawfish leaves plenty of room for updates such as new machines, or fish and if the developer adds some more machines then this game will be absolute amazing but as it stands its still a very charming and enjoyable game that you can easily come back to whenever you want some good claw machine fishy goodness.

Burial at Sea - Episode Two changes the combat greatly, and tells a mess of a story that has lots of issues but still provides an extremely memorable and worthwhile experience that every Bioshock fan should play. The combat in this game is heavily heavily stealth based based, giving you silent weapons, and tools to navigate the world as silently as possible. This is a welcome change of pace and fits Elizabeth's character very well. You have to plan out encounters and be strategic about what you do in order to find success. The story.... well it's a bit of a mess continuity wise but the experience it gives if you don't overly critique it is phenominal. It has you going between Rapture and Columbia and learning about the events leading to the first game. You come face to face with characters from the first game and Infinite in your quest to find what you're looking for and it builds upon the world of Bioshock. If you're willing to look past the continuity errors of the story its a great experience every fan of the series should play.

Burial at Sea - Episode One has some issues, and is pretty pricey for its length however I still think it's worth a play and here's why. The beginning takes place in Rapture in its prime, when it's bustling with life and everything is shiny and new and its an absolute treat to see. You only get to see a little bit of Rapture in this way and it leaves you wanting even more of it however you quickly get taken away from it all and are back to dirty old rapture in ruins. The combat in episode one varies greatly from the rest of the series. Ammo is extremely limited meaning every bullet counts. The atmosphere is brilliant and the world looks gorgeous, or as gorgeous as run down Rapture can look. If you go into encounters firing away and shooting at everything you see you will not have a fun time. It will be miserable. You have to use your resources smartly and yes this isn't and won't be for everyone but I found it an interesting change of pace and while it wasn't perfect I found it enjoyable and a good challenge. This does of course continue the story and yes, there are plotholes, yes some of it makes no sense at all but the experience you get is worth it I think. If you are a massive Bioshock fan I think you should absolutely play this, probaly on a good sale though, if you haven't played the first 2 games and have only played Infinite, then I'd say you could probably skip this one.

Bioshock Infinite steps away from Rapture and into a whole new world, and it does so with great success. Infinite takes place in Columbia, a city in the clouds. Infinite takes the story telling of the first two in terms of world building, and atmosphere and delivers a completely different experience than the first 2 did. Columbia, unlike Rapture is still an active city but the city itself tells a story much like Rapture did. The story of Infinite does have a few problems continuity wise but as an experience, it's absolutely amazing. Yes you can look at every small detail and scrutinize the errors or moments of flawed logic but the story delivers a great experience. The combat makes some changes compared to the first two, the most notable being you only carry 2 weapons at a time. Plasmids return although they're called vigors here but they're the same premise. Infinite adds a new movement option though, being the ability to travel on rails which gives you more options in combat now, allowing you to attack from the skies and drop in on your enemies. The other massive addition is Elizabeth, the companion character. Elizabeth only adds to the game, and doesn't hinder your experience at all since she helps get you items like ammo and healing items in combat, and can't die, meaning you don't ever fail an objective because of bad AI. Elizabeth also can open up tears, to allow you to create cover, or items that can aid you in combat. Infinite innovated on the first 2 games and provides a satisfying story and great gameplay, as well as one of the best characters in gaming in Elizabeth. I can't recommend this game enough.

Bioshock 2 is a sequel that doesn't build off of it's predecessor a whole lot but that's not necessarily a bad thing. If you enjoyed Bioshock, you will most likely enjoy this one as well. The strengths of Bioshock 2 can also be its weaknesses though. Combat in Bioshock 2 is mostly the same, similar weapons, similar plasmids, similar areas to explore but it does make some changes for the better. Gone is the old hacking minigame and instead we have a much more streamlined hacking minigame that doesn't completely take you of the game. This game also introduces a moral system where you can choose what to do to certain characters throughout your playthrough and this will change your ending, much like the little sisters from last game. The little sisters return here this time with a gathering mechanic that allows you to get more adam but its completely up to you whether you do it or not. I personally had no issues without doing the extra gathering. So Bioshock 2 doesn't change a ton, and while it keeps the core gameplay of the first, which is very good, it leaves a lot to be desired. The game isn't bad at all, far from it, it just feels like it could've done more. The story of this game is not as strong as the first either and leaves some to be desired however the final chapter of this game is fantastic. I personally think the final chapter of this game is better than any part of the first Bioshock. The highs of Bioshock 2 are some of the best in the whole series however the lack of innovation can leave some wanting a bit more, however the areas you explore are still fantastic and this game is absolutely worth a playthrough, as is the Minerva's den DLC.
